Ok, so I'm P.O.'d cause a L40 thief swiped my stuff and sold it. *Laughing at self* But hey, I killed mobs for those mage stones and it makes me mad.
But, maybe I don't understand how Pthievery is supposed to work on Sloth. Maybe I have no right to be mad. I mean if it is part of the game and I just should have played better, then it is my tough luck. But I'm not sure I had a chance to play better against someone with more then twice my levels.
If I'm wrong, I'd like to know that. On the other hand, if it is dirty dealing abuse of fellow players, maybe it's time to form a posse and go hang a pthieves. I'm up for it.
The pthief I ran into, Poolp, didn't deny the theft, so guilt is not the question. His response was, he was teaching me a lesson for sleeping in an usafe area. Well, I was guilty of that.
On the other Poolp was stealing from me and others in an exp group. I slept when and where my group leader told me too. I see it as being part of the team. Is Poolp teaching me not to do this? If he is teaching us not to group or not to follow your group leader? Shouldn't he be robbing the group leader to teach him how to lead better? He not only robbed me but a raiser who saving a dead player.
Also, when a level 40 robs a level 20, it isn't a real sporting event. Perhaps a pthief show have some guidlines, rob those capable to fighting back. Hmmm let me remind you all of the "form a posse and hanging thieves" idea.
Truthfully, Poolp and other Pthieves aren't trying to teach us anything. They are leeches on us just like the corrupt in the real world. And just like in the real world they will take from the weaker folk until they are stopped.
Let me know if you'd like to help me form a posse. Or if you think I am out of line. Sloth can be nice neighborhood to play in. And vengenance can be sweet.
