sounds nightmarish

I'd prefer the immorts just arbitrarily decided who they wanted to bestow some neato piece of eq upon. Would solve a lot of arguing and would generally be more fair than existing methods without being too complex.

nope... then Imm's would be accused of showing favortism even when things are on the up and up. It only takes 2-3 complainers to drag even more into the mix. There is an easy solution to this..you just haven't figured it out yet.

Nope.. you go to a two-tier system.

Quest groups that included more than 20 people are only awarded drachma for participation. Not more for being leader/tank/bot etc etc.. that way everyone knows what everyone got cause it all the same.

Quest groups of 20 or less would vote on the onset of who would receive any quest items should quest be completed. That way, before the first MOB was killed, anyone in group will know that they won't be receiving anything but exp/coins and the enjoyment of gameplay. Then they themselves can decide if they wish to partake in said group.

Furthermore, IMM's running quests could announce what type group should be formed. I have found nowhere that says 2 groups can't run same quest at same time. Ah, but it's not fair you say? All the high-levellers cool people
will stick together leaving us lowbies/weaks with no chance of reward. Not so says I. The Imm(s) running quest could make a final adjustment at his/her discretion to keep group strength more equal.Again all this occurs, before the 1st MOB is killed.

Then with locking of groups.. any newcomers would have to get permission from each group leader to be able to join group.

the answer is that there is no answer unless every person in the group gets some quest eq for competing in the quest. otherwise there will always be whiners. once the weaver gets redone then maybe drachma as a reward will be more appealing. dave i meant no slight towards you or your recent quest. on the contrary i commend you for dealing with it. you have only to check elwood's wrap and see that ive dealt with plenty of it on my own.

the only truth is that none of you bastards will ever be happy with anything.. it will never be FAIR enough.. it will never be GOOD enough... and there will always be a group of people bitching about who/what deserves blah blah blah..

just create a gdamn imm and make your own quests.. hand out wtf you want to who you want and stfu.

and for those of you who were not involved and/or bitched and was actually trying to give helpful critisim thank you... for the rest stfu and please accept a stab to the face as a consulation prize..

:( I'll participate in a quest with no xp loss or gain for nothing. Much xp loss and I'll do it for three drachma or a scatter at the end or something. They're so much fun - Akasha's recent one was great. Far prefer a weak reward and a lot of fun to no quests. Might be a good time for everyone to get over it.

without disrupting other eq slots would be nice... maybe double price to 500 and add a second tier of robes... robes with even bigger and better powers... since the robe slot is already filled with a 250 crackma robe on everyone anyhow... +dam robe!

Would love to see lots more clasps with all sorts of differing attributes particular to each class... and maybe have them attach to any eq item - not much point having more neck/held low/held high/head clasps as many chars have those slots already clasped.

the triple 40 eq mostly isnt worth a fuc k anymore too. when krom and i revamped it the first time there were only 4 classes and no clasps. now a lot of it just isnt used at all. i would like to see some shit with class-particular bonuses for 3x40 like the cuirass having weapondmg and requiring warrior somewhere in the classo to use. as an example.

Yea redoing the 3x40 eq would be nice. Adding some eq for Monks, Necros,
Bards, and Druids.
