I tended to skip a lot of what dean and wasp said only because I hate long posts. I tried to read the important parts. Just an fyi in the future, I figure there were others who hate to read long-winded posts.

I was STRONGLY AGAINST level loss tert when it was brought up. I still am very STRONGLY AGAINST level loss tert.

I have lost tert 3 times since brought into the game. I haven't died all that often in those years either. It does seem a bit too often.

Well, we all know that I die a lot. I have never lost a tert level. Perhaps you are just really unlucky Toxis? :)

Oh, and you swear all you want AA. Consider this my official permission.

**** Aaron, ill ride over to his house and kick his little ass. Oh wait hes bigger than me, well Ill still give him a sound thrashing. I never knew it was inappropriate to curse here. In fact I didnt quite realize it was inappropriate on the game, just about all of us do it. I submit that the violence on sloth by killing things with swords, cutting off limbs, roasting other people in burning winds, and singing until someones head blows off is alot more negative than a few words. I never did understand how a word can hurt someones feelings or make them feel dirty. Its quite possible that if your worried about children then they dont need to be here. Chrissy has 5 year old daughter and I have been known to use some foul language around her, she says Michael thats a bad word and she knows she isnt supposed to talk that way. Maybe people need to police their own environment instead of trying to place rules on everyone else.

Oh tert loss sux I agree.

Trying to teach Aa some manners would be right up there with trying to teach yer dog to whistle. Choose your battles but mostly just STFU. Peace be with you...

I suggest to change it this way:
1. Increase chance to loss tert and even quad in case you've been shocked.
2. But also remove chance to loss any level when you type 'quit!' and
I guess the amount of exp loosing this way should be increased.

Any comments?

I was trying to come up with a nice way to say this is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard... but I couldn't.

tert level loss sucks, has happened to me a few times (on both my chars), but the main problem is the coins - if anything just make re-leveling cost half the gold of gaining that level for the first time

yeah i have one: f u c k you. lose quad are you ******* KIDDING me??? stfu and go to hell. prime and second loss are hard enough to deal with. tert loss is painful as all hell - i should know. i lost tert myself once, and i was already on lyme and didn't know i could sneak reaper. any mortal who does not currently play an admin here would tell you that the penalties for death are severe enough as it is. if increased lost exps goes into the game YOU will be personally blamed for it dude. i don't care if yer not the one who put it there - it was your idea and there are some people who will personally see to it that your sloth life is no longer any fun.
Yeah bringing you another disturbing creation from the mind of one sick animal who can't tell the difference and gets stupified.

It's al a game, exp for weaks etc, but...

May I ask? I think clerics should have much less chances to shock. Krok, cl prime, shocks ppl with rina and shock eq. Is it fair? like... maybe good align will help us to shock less?

Well here is the deal about sloth Pete..don't share your password. I have no
way of knowing whether it's Stan or Pete in there, and I don't plan on making
an effort to find out either way. Anyone could get out of anything by simply saying "It wasn't me it was the other guy". This is the internet and that doesn't hold any water with me. I don't hold either one of you in particularly high regard so I don't much care, since you seem to espouse his opinions as well. There is an old saying that goes something like "don't poke the bear". I think it was more than clear that I was pissed off and probably not receptive to anyone's opinion of my language or my opinions, yet the bear was poked. I am a firm believer in being held accountable for your actions and/or your words. If you had said something like this to my face I would have ******* cleaned your clock before you got the 10th word out, and I plan to get my pound of flesh one way or another. Also, I'm pretty sure you didn't just tell me foul language was a bad idea after the ignorant and childish rants you sent to Splork and the wizlist last year. Those were some of the funniest shit I have seen in a long time.

Get ready,
Aaron

Sigh. OK at work, can't remember Riurik's password, so I am posting as Grue, but for the record this is Pete.

I have absoultely no concern over whetever you do. Frankly, what's the worst you can do? Web my character, find some interesting way to kill me? Please, go ahead. Unlike you my life does not revolve around Sloth, and frankly you are (as you always do) behaving like a child. Not sure what the rules are anyway about taking action online about a post on the crier as noone has ever been stupid enough to do it, but I guess we can always try. Please let me know what char you play the most so I can log one of my chars on, and you can do what you like.

If you are not receptive to anyones opionon of your language don't use it, and noone will comment on it. In your own words, be held accountable for your actions.

As far as "wiping my clock", that is the funniest thing I have ever heard from you :) You are threatening to wipe my cloak in a virtual forum? If you mean in real life it is even funnier. You are going to find my real life address and visit me and go to jail for a game? You sound like a damn middle-schooler! For heaven's sake just grow up and get some perspective. Go get drunk or do whetever you do in real life when you are too stressed out, chill out.

As for your language, from now on whenever you choose to use foul language on the crier I will be posting. Get used to it. I don't like foul in a public forum, you choose to use I will not stand by and say nothing. I am sick of your langauge. Just stop it and I'll leave your posts alone. I have ignored you languag in the past, you can be assured after this I never will again, so get used to it.

And BTW, I don't share the passwords that matter. The char I play the most is not shared and hasn't been listed. Some of the chars I "own" I was given on the understanding I don't change the password, 2 of them are other peoples chars who have left the game (they said for a while, but it's been 4 years), and again I have a promise to them that they have access to them whenever they want. As far as crier passwords, the onlt one that anyone else has is Grue, and I have changed that now and asked Stan to creat his own account.

Having said that, do I endorse his opinions? Most of them, no, his opinions about language, yes. I think it's unneccesary, I think it does nothing to prove a point. Your comment about using langauge to make a point I think is completely false. It may shock people into reading it, but for a lot of people like myself it lowers my opinion of the poster/speaker, and I frankly tend to discount what they say.

Seriously Aaron, you need to chill. You get way too stressed out and uptight. You say you have never had a high opinion of me, well you may be suprised to find out how many times I have helped you online in one form or another. I am serial character creator, have owned tons of chars and have helped you with CRs and raises on quite a few occasions. I don't buy the whole "This is just the way I am, and you'd better accept" line. You will get far a far mor sympathetic ear by mellowing out than by posting with the tone and language you always use.

What I said is that if you called me poorly-raised trash to my face I would
have just dotted your eye. I don't care whether you like my language or not, but I;m not looking to be insulted because you don't agree with me.

OK lets do this. I can't speak for Stan, but I for one apologize for anything I've said, this has gotten out of hand.

Realistically though, Aaron, you started this thread. You could have posted an angry but reasonable email saying you thought the level loss was unreasonable, that you were pissed and could it be looked at. I'm sorry, but whats is the point of using the word **** 5 times in a 7 line post? You started this thread with an insult! If you like I can go back and find all the times you have used foul language and/or insulted people, but you, by your own admission do it.

I have no gripe with you online, I have always helped you when you needed help, most of the time I leave you alone. Can I please ask that you tone down the language. I don't want to have to add this site as a blocked site for my son when he plays the game. I don't think asking everyone to watch their language is unreasonable. I don't use language like that in real life or online (and yes obviously if I am truly pissed I will let off, but not in a public post).

I seriously do not want to fight with you, or be put in a position where if I need your help online or vice versa with won't be offered, I am just asking you to please tone it down.
