So when there are more than one of you entreing a room with a mob in it, the mob will see you and wont let you stab it.

But yet a 45 person group can enter a room and the mob doesnt think something bad is about to happen and will let you stab it. (as long as the mage isnt the one doing the stabbing) The other 7 classes can stab.
Sounds like prejudcice to mages to me. Free the mage!!

So i guess in any group of more than one person then noone should be able to stab because the mob is aware of you being there, because how are you suppose to Sneak around when there are more than one of you?

Should be easier with more than one person in the room. Don't you remember any quest group where the leader stops in a room to talk to a quest mob, trying to get some important hint, and the tank suddenly stabs the mob? I'd say that golden dragon was distracted by the leader trying to pump him for info.

Mages can sneak with mirrors and even shadowwalk with mirrors.

I am almost 100% sure the root of this penalty was game-balancing.

We can have one explanation or another or even remember D&D rules,
but truth , imho of course, is that immortals considered and, as i
understood from Splork's post, still considering stabbing with mirrors is
overpower and hurt game-balance. Even now, although now we have 4
new classes with real cool spells and skills and many other changes.

I do not agree with it and think delaying remirrors after stab is enough
penalty. I might be wrong. I might be right. I have never had a chance to
taste stabbing with mirrors.

Maybe we could have at least few no-penalty days a month ?
Just to taste. Like we have fargate and nocap days.

i have really enjoyed reading all of the posts on this thread, we have such a intensly diverse playerbase, with so many great combo's that people have created. and the fact of the things that the different variables that have been created,figured out, and shared. makes much more fun for all of us.

The one comment i want to share is following some suggestions here regarding thief/mage attacks, blastem and I have been having a blast taking on some larger mobs that we probably shouldnt 2 man. but it seems to be quite effective.

attack as follows: dbl stab, wind, wind, circ,wind, raise autolycos

quite amusing to say the least
