Quest Notes for Neptune's New Area

As the marmosets raced about their feet, they recorded that they found an
ancient temple with depictions of jaguars and winged snakes. Having
discovered a veritable treasure of knowledge, they returned through R'lyeh
and back to the areas south of the Rainbow Valley to bring us the gift of
this discovery.


The journey is arduous, and there are a few dangers along the way. But we
feel with the right team of peopleto clear the dangers, we can once again
reclaim the lost knoweldge of the Nuahtl people and their practices. The
areas that the temple lies within are relatively unknown or forgotten, but
with Neptune's grace we feel we will be successful in our neverending search
for truth and knowledge.

There is something written upon it:


Reaching the crest, our team of men found signs of more travel including
some minor pot shards and ruined implements of the Nuahtl people. They
soon followed the trail south and east from the crest where the entered
a thick jungle. There, covered in vines, they came upon a sheer cliff face
where one of them spotted the remnants of a structure on top of the high
precipice. With much luck, they were able to climb the vines and reach the
top of the cliff.

Having excavated the site of the ancient peoples known as the Nuahtl
just south of the Rainbow Valley, we have recently unearthed possible
locations of several other ruined city-states that may lie deeper within
the interior of the island. In the fallen city of Ch'khtl Na'alrath we
found tablets that were translated as trade partners to the south, and
described trade routes into the modern areas of the Great Ones.

We sent a team of archaeologists into the area shortly thereafter to
take a look around, and indeed there were signs of ancient travel.
Talking to some of the native peoples in the Valley of the Great Ones,
we were told that the area had been used for centuries by the peoples
that lived in that area of the island. One such little man with crater-
like eys told us we'd do best to reach the crest if we wanted to find
the oldest of these trade routes.

New area by Neptune can be found all east, all south from niggurath in castle rlyeh, follow east trail and that will lead you to the entrance.

Apparently there lies a 9x40 forge in the area.

Killed a bunch of epics with drachma tokens, loaded a few keys and a few items that were personal. Perhaps looters could give more insight into this.
