Creating your user via forum login

Postby *Splork* » Mon May 24, 2010 1:18 pm

We have removed the ability to login to the website CMS due to security concerns.

To retrieve your user's password:
1) browse to login button
2) click resend activation email
3) enter username
4) enter email address
At this point, you should receive your reactivation for this forum.

If you do not remember your email that was used with your account, you may email benq@slothmud.org or splork@slothmud.org and we can set your account for you. However be prepared to prove the username is yours.

Also, there has been some reports of links not working, maps missing, etc. It was impossible for us to test all possible scenarios on the new site so please start a bug report thread and start posting those that you find. Please include the names of the missing maps, the link address that is not working, etc. Please include your browser if it is a browser specific issue. We tested most internal pages with IE and Firefox.

Speaking of browsers, there's something weird with the display in Chrome. It causes all the middle frames to show up below the main page. I can send a screenshot if you like. I'm sure Chrome compatibility isn't the top priority, but it would be nice. I'm not sure why it's Chrome only, since the rendering engine is supposed to be based on Safari's, and it displays fine with Safari.

yeah i am not sure what is up with Chrome. It is a nice browser, but no matter what I try I cant get it to render the pages properly. some quick 'googleing' a few days ago said that Chrome has some serious issues with CSS, so I installed Safari (which i was pleasantly surprised with) and everything worked fine. This probably should go in the bugs thread but I just got home from night shift so not in the mood to do much.
