[quote="Mosaix":iduilw8w]Btw: Thomas Jefferson is not the best example to use to prove our former founding fathers were somehow biblical compared to todays leaders.
God bless America[/quote:iduilw8w]
Not Biblical? I can think of a bible story where the Israelities murdered every man, woman and child in a city they took over called Jericho, after God divinely intervined and collapsed the cities walls.
King David commited Adultry with Bathsheba, and who could blame him, she sounded pretty hot

. I mean she was beautiful and bathed naked on a roof top...

King David probably had slaves as well.
Rom 3:23 [b:iduilw8w]for all have sinned[/b:iduilw8w], and fall short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Rom 3:25 [b:iduilw8w]whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith,[/b:iduilw8w] in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God;
So your attempt to discredit this man based on his actions is possibly flawed, but at the end of the day... we don't know.
I think being a "christian" has more to do with faith and your heart towards God, than one's actions and misgivings. It certainly has nothing to do with attending church... although if you call your self a "christian" wouldn't you wanna hang out with others?
