This is the second mural done after the first was torn down by Rockefeller in New York City.
The Rockefeller mural was stopped, and torn down by 1933.
This during the beginnings of the right-wing calling everyone a "communist", leading into the 1950's where they tried to slander/jail those who opposed the right-wing via "McCarthyism"


In the 90's everyone was a "liberal" who didnt follow the right-wing. During the Bush era, liberal wore out and terrorist became the buzzword "you are either with us or with the terrorists"

Btw: Thomas Jefferson is not the best example to use to prove our former founding fathers were somehow biblical compared to todays leaders.

He held slaves, and fathered children with them out of wedlock.
Died flat broke due to his family wasting all their money.
Kicked the indians off their native land, and repressed an entire culture into oblivion and onto reservations.
Started the indian re-education process. Stole indian children from their families, cut their hair off, forced them to learn english and sent them off to orphanages. Thomas Jeffersons picture is just left of the top of the doorway in the back.

How best to speak up against this tyranny?

Go to meetings where people are discussing health care reform and shout
down the speakers so they can't accomplish anything? What are some other
ways we can ensure the administration will fail? That's the objective right?
Let's brainstorm here.

Health care reform? Call it public option or single payer, but not reform. Why is it that when people dissented or protested Iraq politicians like Nancy Pelosi would congratulate them on being true Americans. Whenever grandma goes to ask some questions shes labeled a mob, right wing extremist, whacko. It seems to me that free speech is only free as long as your political party is in control. I get amusement from watching people sway like tall reeds in the wind. They only talk about rights when they are the ones being encroached upon.
