I'm glad you all liked it. I will try to run more quests more often and at different times. I will also be trying to find different ways to run quests.

Many have asked about eq given out for this quest, so I thought long and hard over it and decided on the following...

This is mostly a "part two" to the quest to accomodate those in different time zones.

Anyone can join.

Everyone who joins has a chance to roll for quest eq unless you got quest eq in last quest.

If you got anything in last quest you will not get anything in this quest except drachma-honor-gold.

I located one on the overlord. We checked and take one more scroll.

Truth found one ot Lolth and one on Demogorgon.
Got some dr from Lolth.

Asmodeus was very fat, after some runs his lite was droped by our world Gods. +)

Finaly we punished him down with some reward: dr, *hehe* 0 exp and Rod of Asmodeus (5d5 +1maregen +3hit).

wow.. that's a lot of impressive eq given out. nice.

I took those silk pants back from concept since he got something on the first quest and it was a part two to the first one for people who couldn't join. I'm sorry for those who couldn't come for both, but there'll be more quests in the future.

Another thing I think needs mentioned is the reason why Sa was able to give his cp back and trade for something else. When he joined the first time, he came in late, so I told him he could have a small cp. When he tanked the second quest and was there for the whole thing, I felt he was jipped especially when he died so much... wow did he die So I took back the cp from the first quest and gave him a new prize.

I'll be changing the way quest eq is given out from me in the future. Don't even bother asking, I'm not going to say. But I'm planning to make it as fair as possible.

By the way, Bazilus.. that was amazing summary of the quest. Standing ovation to you.

It was a good time and I would have been happy with just the drachma. I'm certainly not complaining but I'm of the opinion that quest eq should be given out based on merit. Just my two cents.

And by merit, I think he's referring to the fact that when the quest became not 'check epics for scrolls', but 'search all the big mobs on the entire mud for scrolls, and by the way immort is afk', Brady was the one that came through and found the Krakken for us

Also notable was Ferret Truth, who risked (and encountered) certain death dancing with the demons and lizards in dweb to find scrolls on lolth and demo. Truth was also MVP of last week's quest, but received no special reward for bravely and general usefulness.

Finally, though I was 2.tank and my 'Sa is dead!' trigger fired upwards of a dozen times, I rarely bit it. I was kept alive in large part by quick typing, potions, and the great healing skills of Suriv, who was consistently the fastest healer to notice that 2.tank was up for heals. I might vote for Suriv as MVP, except that (like everyone else), he always had mana when Sa died. On one of the few occasions that I did croak, it was discouraging to watch 5x40s pouring huge heals into the corpse of Sa while I sat at 200 hp.


If immorts and quest leaders don't want to take the responsibility of choosing who is mvp and/or who is most deserving of reward, groups have been known to handle picking MVPs well in the past. Have each person in the group gjob three people, and let the top three fight/trade/random over the epic loot. My picks would have been truth brady and baz. When someone can be in the quest group and do nothing other than enter portal timely and random well, the system needs an upgrade.
