[quote="Mosaix":3v5gy93w]Weasel your post is again jaded and flawed.

What rock were you living under while Bush has been president?

Never heard a peep out of you about Bush. You hate Obama we all get that already.[/quote:3v5gy93w]
You realize I'm quoting Tap's post don't you, which is a quote from AP, which is a quote from one of Obama's own people? Yes? Anything that went through over Bush's term had to be approved by Congress as you well know, and for the last couple of years that was a democrat majority Congress. Obama will have their backing anyway, but even if he doesn't, he apparently intends to override them anyway. Yes Bush vetoed some, and Congress blocked some of his plans too, but he wasn't a law unto himself. It seems Obama has different ideas about that.

I really don't understand why you have to attack me about details that come from Obama's own people. Seriously, there's something wrong with that. Do you deny Obama stating he intends to establish a huge domestic security force more powerful than the entire US military, and better equipped too? For DOMESTIC use? That doesn't make you pause even for a moment? Or that Biden has warned you that they are going to do something that Americans will be very unhappy with, and that Americans (that's you and me) will tell them they are wrong - but they're going to do it anyway, whatever 'it' is. So much for representing the people.

I sincerely hope I am wrong about Obama, but unfortunately we may all have to find out the hard way. If attacking me for stating what has come from Obama and his people helps you manage your guilt or denial or whatever it is, so be it. (hehe, that should get a reaction). I don't hate Obama - I don't even know the guy - I just don't like his apparent socialist leanings, and don't believe he should be president. I am still free to express that opinion - at least for now.

Some quick points and then I'm going back to bed.

Bush didn't go into office with a "cult leader" fascination. Any president and I'm sure all have used executive privileges soon AFTER taking office. It's like any business, the new guy always turn over rocks to make an impression which can either be a good thing or a bad thing. Osama has clearly stated on setting up his "volunteer" force that will rival the military which you man shrug off however, as Weasel was alluding too...today you can voice an opposition..in 1-2 years, they could come lock you up. I've already heard and can find sources later to show how schools will question your kids to determine if the parent is teaching "hate at home" and if determined to be the case, DEFACS will get involved. In an further measure, you can be arrested by such "thought police" just on the suspicion so that if anyone one has a grudge on you they can claim that you hate Osama blah blah and guess what? It's bye-bye for you as you get "re-educated". It's already happened here once. Right now, thanks to good ole California, they are trying to make it so that a Church can only teach certain things out of the Bible and certain topics will be considered "hate speech" in which case the Church will lose it's tax-status and be labled as a "Hate Orginization".

Good Times

Whats the biggest issue? Churches that preach against homosexuals?
Didn't Cali just outlaw gay marriage? It's hard for me to imagine the government taking on the churches in the way you say. Obama going to take on Rev. Wright and similar churches? Seems unlikely to me.

I was in Kentucky last weekend and I was shocked by how scared people down there were. The Republicans still think Obama is a secret Muslim/Commie and many Democrats think Bush is going to declare martial law and stay in office.
Talk to the clown.

I read the story tap mentioned. He forgot to mention that Obama plans on using executive orders to UNDO Bush's executive orders.

Hey Juggles, I also wrote in same paragraph[quote:7xra94tk]Any president and I'm sure all have used executive privileges soon AFTER taking office. It's like any business, the new guy always turn over rocks to make an impression which can either be a good thing or a bad thing. [/quote:7xra94tk]

Then-[quote:7xra94tk]Whats the biggest issue? Churches that preach against homosexuals? Didn't Cali just outlaw gay marriage? It's hard for me to imagine the government taking on the churches in the way you say. Obama going to take on Rev. Wright and similar churches? Seems unlikely to me.[/quote:7xra94tk]

Not just homosexuality but other issues as well..such as creationism for example. Darwinism isn't necessary making a comeback, it's just the few trying to force their belief on the many. Cali outlaw gay marries? Yeah and in the same breath, the gay community is going to petition the court to OVERRULE the wish of the people. With Schwartzenegger advocating also it's not going to be a shock to anyone if said election is thrown out...same shit different day.

[quote:7xra94tk]The Republicans still think Obama is a secret Muslim/Commie and many Democrats think Bush is going to declare martial law and stay in office.
[/quote:7xra94tk]

I couldn't say if that was the case at all. I don't know if Osama is a secret muslim...he certainly isn't a secret Commie..he's been pretty straightforward about that. I also don't think Democrats believe Bush is going to decalre martial law to stay in office? Don't know about that...I don't think that the masses, on both side of the fences, would stand idly by and allow that to happen. Where Osama has went wrong in causing the mistrust is the associations he has along with the backlash against anyone who has voiced any opposition towards him. He has definitely been straightforward in his way of thinking ( for the most part ) but his method of delivery leaves much to be desired. He also seems to be falling into believing the hype surrounding him. It's not pre-madonna, it's pre-osama!!!

What a load of crap... You have both a perception AND an attitude problem. He's not even president yet and your still hacking away at him with your sharp little teeth. If you sincerely believed that, you'd give the guy a chance...

WTF? Because I quote [i:1lvqbp56]Obama's own words[/i:1lvqbp56] which don't happen to sync with your cult image of him, [i:1lvqbp56]I[/i:1lvqbp56] have a perception and attitude problem? LOL! And you see nothing wrong with that picture at all I bet. Thanks for providing a classic example of the ignorance of his followers! Damn, that's too funny, and even more so considering you're sitting down in Aussie aren't you? LOL!

Then it's all agreed! Tap will keep Weasel company in Jail... we will no longer hear your one eyed "fearing" rants proclaiming the end of the world... and finally the thread ends.

It's amazing how someone supporting Osama gets light-headed when he speaks, yet when someone repeats what Osama has said or bring attention to his words, the claws come out. Jezer, you are a perfect example of whats wrong with this country and you are not even from here. Kudos to you. I try to not find fault with you J, it's probably not your fault with the internet filter that you are stuck with so perhaps you don't have the access to information that we Americans do. Then again, you could be a Osamanist.

I'm not for or against Obama or McCain... I just play the Obama line because your anti Obama fanaticism amuses me. Like weasel was just this funny guy on the crier before all this... but the passion, attitude, resentment, fear about the future and bitterness that guy can muster over politics, has certainly made me seen him in a new light... he's scary now. So what if he's right? Well I think he's lost too much creditability for anyone to care.

There is a saying, "What good is a man, to gain the whole world, if he loses who he is." That's the pompous paraphrased version... I know you like it Tap...
