Well, I don’t really care if you all don’t give a rip… most didn’t when I needed the help… but something great happened last night and I just wanted to share.

I really needed a vigor book. It’s the only way I can get 25/100 strength shifted at my level. It was real important to me. I don’t group much… maybe that’s why I don’t die much hehe. Anyways, I soloed Mandiblaton as Phoenix. Took 2 and a bit nightmares so I guess it took me 70mins plus. Then I had to sit around for another hour while he re-popped.
I’m not sure about his pop rate, but when he came back he surprisingly had the book.

Now I need my beauty sleep… because it’s Monday, and gotta get up early for work. Call goes out on gossip… no one will help. So I wallow in self pity for a bit. Then a clan member switches to help me.

Just as we are killing a mob for a mare corpse… my internet flashes out… it never does this! For the next 10mins I still unbelieving at my router setup watching LCP fail every time it connects. I can’t believe it…
I walk out of my room, and come back in a few minutes later, and it’s reconnected. I re-enter game and Virus and Sirrico (who had joined from the start) are still waiting to help. Then another clan member switches and Tisna joins the party.

So we have a small warrior - Sirrico, a necro - Tisna, a thief Virus and a me. Now Mandiblaton tends to eat 1000hp in 3 rounds through -11 sanc. It was wasteful to heal tank, when he would be dead in 2 rounds flat. So I shifted, used my hp as a meat shield, then the others came in healing self and blasting. After 5 fairly epic runs and about 3 deaths… we got him!

It’s now 12.30am the next day, hehe… I trundle off to BH where the only peri marked happens to be the one that I need at WEST GATE… oh how my luck had changed… I was pumped, and I still can’t believe I finally got my vigor book… because I’d been wishing I could get one for like 2 months and not done much about it… and after a complete disaster everything worked out so sweetly.

Big thanks to clannies, Virus, Tisna and Sirrico. There was nothing in it really for them, but it was important to me and they helped for what turned out to be about an hour.

Heh, that's funny, having a 'last will and testament' for your sloth characters in case you die in real life... I can't say I'm that well thought out...

But then again... I think it's a great idea!

Who could forget my sister Weasel, she'd make a nice pair of slippers!
Maybe even young Yasik and his collection of sparta memorabilia could fetch a quarter at the junk store.
