Vixn, dispel naga... had hermetic resonance to web maybe. Try this, hermetic resonance another character against webs, then you cast a web at them, you will possibly throw the web onto them with their resonance when you've casted it and had it reflected.

Polk proves dumb again.... Actually there was some coding done so that resist web and evade capture could be used at the same time and one or the other would work... However the code was changed in a way to where evade is broken now... Not quite sure if resist web will fix throwing webs back at yourself but you might try that just for a safe bet.

It only tells them we are still paying any attention to them and so long as they can get anyone to read or reply their posts, they will not just sit down and shut up - or better yet, leave and fade away all together. Polk is worse than Firebrand when it comes to babbling on threads he knows nothing about. Maybe if he would get his head out of his ass and play along with everyone else instead of whining about eq that poofed when he quit! out and stop making threats to anyone that has balls enough to tell him to shut up. Maybe if when he joins groups he actually sits at the keyboard and PAYS ATTENTION TO THE GROUP instead of wanking off to porn in another window while entire group dies. Maybe if he would quit buying and selling eq while running as stabber for the group. Maybe if all (or even some) of these maybes were to come to pass, we wouldn't keep attacking Polk every time he opens his mouth. Hell, some of us have come to actually LIKE Tap because of Polk.

Let me give you a clue, for you Yinao, and the chick in the picture. If the person who had asked (who you might want to address in the post instead of making this about Me all the time) had resist webs up, then this wouldn't have been posted as a thread to begin with. Another feeble attempt to nerf thief code, brought to you by Yinao. And no, I didn't read your post on this thread, however closely you watch.
Question: Did someone with evade even try it? Yinao has no thief class.

it's been a bug for quite some time now. it has nothing to do w/ hermetic resonance. it's just what evade capture does now, it fails 100% of the time since you just throw the webs at yourself instead of back at the target. even with rwebs up it can still happen. if rwebs fails, evade kicks in and then it does that nice buggy web thing. is good times.

Eh, Strider has a different aspect of hermetic resonance in mind from what I had described I think. If you've res'd yourself then you obviously don't need evade, or rweb for web. How I had meant it was to throw a web on someone with resonance on for Web, have web thrown at you from their res and then you'll get a web onto them. I do see where if they've got resonance and evade and rweb all on also then it could be quite a battle with repeated throwings of webs. Read the help file for resonance though, similar to reflection I think. Evade might work to re-throw reflected webs also. I wasn't completely wrong...
