OR[/color:1mk79cyp] are proof of extraterrestrial life dating to the time of Earth's creation.[/quote:1mk79cyp]

All too often new discoveries is just man trying to prove something that he wants to believe. These people are announcing a possible big discovery before they have even made it...

Doesn't that ring alarm bells in your head? They aren't discovering anything... they are trying to prove something... and why are they trying to do that... well that's obvious... they want to believe that they are right. Do you not question there self seeking notions?

After 5 weeks they will report back that yes life in outer space COULD exist... IF[/color:1mk79cyp]... blah blah blah... It takes them 5 weeks to find or make up the smallest detail that they thing proves what they want to believe.

Belief and truth can always be two different things.

Sloth is a game... not something you believe in, or the "truth."

How ironic, you just used my own comment to support something that you believe... heh

So how do we know whose right about sloth?

We never will... because sloth has no truth! I will continue to voice my opinions... and rest assured I haven't forgotten about your opposition to them.

Splitting hairs but proof of life before humans or other than human does not disprove nor prove the existence of God or any other diety. As a Christian, I am open to the idea of both. Genesis states that before Adam was created, that there was life. I'm also open to the idea that 'life' elsewhere. I've read versions of theories where angels who were thrown out of Heaven created life elsewhere. Both theories could be true or untrue. As far as Jezer posting thoughts, more power to him. At least he has some. It's good to think outside the box and to post suggestions both good and bad.

If you believe the universe is infinite, then the chances of there [i:1jawk9j4]not[/i:1jawk9j4] being life elsewhere (in some form) is impossible.

*grumble* what the HELL are you guys referring to? sigh. looks like another post (or several) has been removed and people are STILL replying to it while the rest of us are wtf'ing. and no, please don't repost the offensive material - just please PLEASE look at the damn posts and stuff and make sure that the post is still there before you respond to it, because otherwise all of the comments, arguments pro and con all make absolutely no sense.

p.s. *smooch* and hush to all of you who already know i am a perma-confuzzled blonde.

Happy Birthday, Herman Minkowski ![/color:2a8nygbj]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermann_Minkowski

By 1907 Minkowski realized that the special theory of relativity, introduced by Einstein in 1905 and based on previous work of Lorentz and Poincaré, could be best understood in a four dimensional space, since known as "Minkowski spacetime", in which the time and space are not separated entities but intermingled in a four dimensional space-time, and in which the Lorentz geometry of special relativity can be nicely represented. The beginning part of his address delivered at the 80th Assembly of German Natural Scientists and Physicians (September 21, 1908) is now famous:

"[i:2a8nygbj]The views of space and time which I wish to lay before you have sprung from the soil of experimental physics, and therein lies their strength. They are radical. Henceforth space by itself, and time by itself, are doomed to fade away into mere shadows, and only a kind of union of the two will preserve an independent reality.[/i:2a8nygbj]"

Digital Angel GPS and RFID products enable the rapid and accurate identification, location tracking, and condition monitoring of people. Applications of our products include identification and monitoring of pets and fish with implantable RFID microchips, identification of livestock with our ear tags, GPS based search and rescue beacons for aircraft, ships, boats, and individuals.[quote:3bn45o62]In the event of another high level terrorist attack on the United States, Digital Angel has procured the rights for any forcible implanting of microchips into the current population.[/quote:3bn45o62][/color:3bn45o62]

It's going to happen sooner or later anyway.

The utilitarian applications of implanted ID are numerous enough to conceal any hidden agenda for wanting to put them in people.

There's also every reason to believe that eventually a world event will be manipulated to justify something along those lines. Oppression frequently begins under the guise of protection, or a true desire to protect, but the ultimate conclusion of steadily increasing protection is a cage.

I think I've posted this before...

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”

“The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From Bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.”

IMHO, we're (USA) somewhere on the last two lines, and dangerously close to falling into 'bondage' or dictatorship of some form. Very few people seem to care though.. I imagine this next 4 years will certainly take us well into the realm of dependence as government take over more and more..
