Yanks unearth Sox jersey at new stadium

Team officials watched Sunday as construction workers removed the jersey, with slugger David Ortiz's name on it, from 2 feet of concrete in a service corridor of the stadium that's under construction.

The team says a construction worker — who is a Red Sox fan — recently buried the jersey there while on the job. Two other supervisors found the tattered shirt Saturday.

The Yankees plan to donate the jersey to charity, and

If mud classo's had wheels...

Warrior - The common car, reliable, likable... always at the repair shop
Cleric - A Ford Transit, Bulky, Slow, But always useful for hauling
Mage - A sports car that goes averagely fast, with extreme emmisions out the back each gear change
Druid - Rollerblading, starts off slow, goes very fast, madly unstable, prone to crashes
Monk - Old beat up, armored car in a demo derby, takes a hammering and dishes it out
Necro - A dirty old truck, that smells as bad as it looks, but can pull huge loads
Bard - A nice mountain bike, but you leave it in the garage and listen to music instead
Thief - The worlds most powerful motorbike, with a teaspoon of petrol

All we hear these days is whining from reckless home borrowers and their banks.

Did you know that renters make up 32 percent of American households? And that homes in foreclosure are less than 2 percent?

So why is Congress rushing to bailout high-flying borrowers and their lenders with our tax dollars?

So you bought an overpriced house or cashed out your home equity like an ATM? Here's an idea: take responsibility for your actions!

Make yourself heard: no government bailouts! SIGN THE PETITION

do it.

overheard in NYC:

Girl #1: Everyone always criticizes my choice in men. I get so sick of it; there's nothing wrong with Tom.

Girl #2: He looks like Hitler, he drools, he's always whining and making high-pitched noises, and everyone keeps putting him down, and he never even stands up for himself.

Girl #1: He may be a total loser and a freak but he still has some redeeming qualities. Plus if I didn't date him no one else would.

Tom: Thanks.

Women's Love Poem

Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's gainfully employed,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind,
Knows what to answer to 'how big is my behind?'
I pray that this man will love me to no end,
And always be my very best friend.

Mens Love Poem

I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with
huge boobs who owns a bar on a golf course,
and loves to send me fishing and hunting. This
doesn't rhyme and I don't give a shit.
Talk to the clown.
