One thing I hate more than anything are instant death procs. I will never run Alhoon again, that's a promise. I don't care how bad I want honor.

In all fairness, the proc did fire once that round without killing you, before the second one finished you off.

Not that anyone could probably survive both, but still.

Edit:On second thought, as far as I know that proc doesn't do much through mindbar, but drops it after one attempt. This might be a good time for tanks to start buying perm mindbar (and a ton of detect spells once they can't cast them)

Sometimes the giant monster is just going to splat someone and theres nothing anyone can do about it. So I'm not gonna complain about death procs. But perhaps the frequency and number of pcs affected at once could be reduced so that the group isn't forced to staff and regroup everytime the mob procs. Spending all that time regrouping starts to drag down troop morale.

.... I'm just wondering... where is the thought, skill, and imagination of dying instantly without any possible way of stopping such a death? Oh I get it, just don't kill the mob.

I didn't corpse and I'm not mad or anything, I just don't like those procs and never have. It's like the old "death rooms" in old muds where you walked into a room and you just died instantly. 3 drachma, though, that was nice.

I'm with Tox, death procs are draconian, pointless and unimaginative.

I predict a slow down on epic groups, once the die hard old tard players have got there jollies from a +1 mana regens rank clasp, or something just as lame. Maybe if you all keep sweating... You might get another +1 to hit! Wow! (Even though with about +26 to hit shifted, I still seem to miss 1/4 every two rounds)

Rumour is Lord Rank Clasp gives +1hp... keep epics going people.

It never ceases to amaze the trouble some of our legendary tards go through to get... erm, ... yeah, but I guess that's why they will always be legends of the game, and I'll just be a so in so no name!

I had to laugh though, when I saw the tanks dead, and truth had 748 mana! That is kinda funny.

We like ya akasha, and we appreciate your work! even though I don't always agree! At the end of the day the majority of people love epics, and I like the idea! Just questioning the reward. No one has done as much for the game in a long time as Akasha and I don't think we'd be in #2 if epics hadn't gone in and gotten the old timers re-energized. Not to mention the series of drachma autoquests he put in and his regular quests and the effort he puts into other administrative and coding tasks. So show some respect pls. I wish there were more people putting even half the effort that he puts in.
