Woot Woot, thx Krom:

I would love to see 3x40 eq that would work for certain classes. Back in
the day, u could only pick 4 classes so any of the 3x40 can work. But with
the new classes and I could be wrong ... but I don't think or seen any1
wearing the 3x40 below.

Staff of Ra Held High 0.0 AC, +30 mana, +4 mana regen
Battle Spiked Arm Bands of the Night Prince Arms -0.7 AC, +1 Dam, +1 Con
Jeweled Gauntlets of the Magi Hands -0.3 AC, +25 mana, +2 Con
Runed Tooth of the Arch-Liches Held Low +35 mana, +1 Con
Holy Staff of Elders Weapon 3d4, +15 mana, 2 mr, fireball proc

TRIPLE 40 CLASPS CLASPED TO ATTRIBUTES
dragon-skin laces Feet +1 Dex, 6 hit point regen
a sorceress' favor Neck +10 mana, 1 mana regen

-----

But getting 3x40 to work with class would be best. Warriors should stick
with Warrior 3x40, Mages should stick with Mage 3x40, Monks should stick
with Monk 3x40 etc...

i wouldnt necessarily make them prime only items

the rings
^ who takes a 3x40 item with margn and mana and ac when you can just change eq?

the tooth
ars magica?

the gloves
for stat gimps

the spectrolite charm
its okay...need ac instead of hprgn probably

the druid clasp
it would be ok if it had something instead of int, maybe margn and mana
or some str that helps you get closet to 25/100

the axe
I think it needs ac and dmg but at very least hit and dmg

the staff of elders
hi,
im a runed mace of the underwold, nice to meet you
sorry you suck
<3

the shield
meh

the tome
i know one dude with a tome and he's a monk without refresh so he needs the mvrgn, other than that...

the cincture
.3 doesnt cut it

^^ these are bullshit
since you can buy stats at avatar having a lot of shit for people with gimpy stats is silly and it promotes laziness

the spiked armbands provide more ac than the girdle for someone who wants to run ac/dmg and isnt a th prime with lava sleeves

the staff is cool mana and margn high than ingame
favor ditto
laces..shrug
crown..spade tight
cuirass ditto
shroud is good
dagger is cool now except the proc negates the stab and it's significantly smaller than a stab

Learning Skills

Postby Hades » Fri Jun 01, 2007 9:16 pm

Learning skills and some stats would be interesting instead of having to buy them at 5x40. For example, to learn charisma.. follow this guys example

That would be me, not because I love the ring, but there was rack all else to choose that made even the slightest sense. Any +UC trip 40 would havce made far more sense.

I took rings for Marta, because I can't take shroud for regen (wearing holy wings) and taking crown with so much extra str seemed weird. What is more, I don't have to forge serpents :) I will probably reconsider the eq choice later tho.

I would think that Thrax would benefit from the extra mana/mana regen from the crown and shroud.

Thraxas is a example of a char that picked ring, because there wasn't
anything else that she wanted to replace.

I know another monk that hasn't even picked a 2nd 3x40 eq because he
doesn't want to lose +hand dam. Nothing else would help, so he didn't
even pick a 3x40 eq.

The 3x40 clasps mostly sit in slots with no notable in-game clasp. They are good selections for characters who feel they are in this situation.
