If this continues on for a long period of time, will I be able to use Starbuck and Stella as normal characters again? I think it would be fair that way since if pthieving is not allowed, pkilling shouldn't be either.

Oh well, something tells me pthieving is never going to be a part of this MUD again. Nothing I can say, you've all got what you wanted =) It's been a really fun time.

I'm completely amazed - never thought I'd see the day.. I was pretty much resigned to leaving, so THANK YOU!!!!

IF this is -permanent- , I'd presume legitimized pkilling is also history (except in chaos / tournys), and thus redundant pthief chars would be allowed safely back into normal play - since they can't pthieve anymore, I don't see why not, but others may think differently. This isn't a change in attitude towards pthieving on my part, just what I think is a fair compromise.. others of course are free to think differently. If this is only a temporary measure though, forget it.

Thanks KJ and presumably Splork and the rest of the immort crew for this change in policy - I hope, given time, we will see the playerbase start to grow again.

In conjunction with this change, (I feel that) Chaos areas/zones should be exempt from this, and always have it 'on'...(possibly arenas as well)...as far as when/where it will be turned on in normal game play(if ever) is another tangent...

So I'm wondering if Hades was already a pthief when you got him from Mystery or if you turned him into a pthief afterward?

I guess we should just let bygones be bygones since pthieving is apparently no longer in vogue. Maybe the master of chaos should go find another mud.

Allow me to re-iterate, Mystery never owned,doesn't own, doesn't know who Hades alt's are. Damn it Rub, you know damned well builder char's can't have pthieves.
