Has Al permanently lost his chars?

I think it would be reasonable to know if he has lost these chars. I heard he got a 2 month ban and was going to be reinstated. Then his char gets ransacked by someone and now hes passworded still. Is he not getting his char back to cover up the fact that hes missing eq now? It seems to me you either need to give him his stuff, or perm ban him. I know your going to tell me how Al has had problems in the past etc. I will reply that Al is the least of your guys concerns. He spices things up, and usually makes me feel better about my day. Sure hes not "family oriented" but thats a joke and we all know it.

i try to spice up things too for my own amusement.. but at least Al is a worthy adversary to me in the realm of harrassment.. I kinda miss running with him in Gimlet.. cause face it the char Starbuck really sucks..

Ransacked might be harsh. I know its not the real reason he has not got his stuff back, I would just like to know what the real reason is. I know Al doesn't want to talk to Clink in fear of confrontation. I figure its a good move on his part. I have never said that Al did not deserve the ban or argue that in any point. My point is that 2 months is up.

Based on my limited knowledge I think its something like this:

The gods are in agreement that Al's a jackass, but they disagree on the number and size of the boils that should therefore be inflicted unto him. In fact he was initially polymorphed into a shit shovel in the stables of King Brandor. However this was agreed by most to be an excessively harsh punishment. He has since released on his own recognizance, however as a passing shot one of the gods gave him a nasty case of hack, lepricosy, and the crabs. In the end, the smiting he received seemed to be a result of compromise between immortal beings with varying degrees of humor, compassion, and mercy. Al himself seems rather pleased to be up and adventuring again, if however completely unreformed.

This may be so, but Ive learned more about this mud and some of the people on it from him than from 2/3 of the other people who are just spewing random crap out of their heads. So IMHO let people like 13, Auto, and the Weas clog away, they all still have active characters and for the most part seem to give a damn about Sloth.
