is it possible to have a message such as "you have already cast this spell to max duration/effect" for stackable spells like fly, water breathing, etc that you can cast several times upon yourself or others?

what about being able to see in score or score affects how long your aegis (or other variable-duration) spell has left before it falls or when you masterful cast it, the message will tell you how long it will last?

and speaking of masterful castings, with spells like acid blast and hellstrike and lightning spells (masterful lightning spells will stun mobs for one round) that have bonus secondary side effects, can a masterful casting of the spell automatically grant the bonus side effect?

All the blasting spells with special effects that i know of allready allways land on a masterful. Masterful acid blast garentees blind etc.

i have seen several times where my masterful acids have not blinded. perhaps it is because fb is not caster prime...who knows? oh well....blame it on sobriety :p

I personally have never seen a masterful acid not blind the subject, but maybe I don't pay enough attention when Im bleeding. and while not a blasting spell a masterful slow is depressing.

i now do the quotes because someone bitched about it. at first i was just adding them every now and then.

back to spellcraft ideas: i still want 'dispel magic' charname <specific spell>, maybe make it improved dispel, or avatar spell or something. sometimes only one spell needs removed instead of all of them at once....like webs on another char, for example. yes i am aware of reign of the spider and squirm. not all chars have that spell or skill, or simply don't yet have the levs for them
