So I get from this that it's okay to ruin someones day as long as you want with webs blind silence sleep etc, but you can't kill them once and just get it over with. Probably better to drive them off entirely by making any attempt at gameplay worthless.

A side note: I think it's worth mentioning that VK is very unfriendly. You never know who is in which newb and a majority of them are bots/kill stealers, or will just shit talk you endlessly. I know damn well that Karna would not have pulled that shit if it had been Medios and Daedalus and Karna, but under the cloak of anonymity, EVERYTHING IS OK! WELCOME TO THE INTERNETZ!!

No sense of accountability. I know if I pkill someone that I am going to suffer the consequences. If I do it, you can believe that I am mad enough not to give a damn about someone passwording me or taking some levels. Characters can be made and xp is like water. Your (percieved) pride is your own.

Auto -- I have a ton of characters, I test pretty much everything out, check out every area, have raised up 6 different primary class characters to see what it is like, and have grouped with every one of you probably 100 times. I came in to sloth as a player in late 92 and have always felt that in order to make a contribution I needed to really understand how things work, and the only way to do that is to live it by playing, autumnal forest and all.

Besides that, I enjoy playing...

We dont expect you to be a bane to the mud or harass someone continually. Attempting to disrupt someone when they are leading a group or generally actions disrupting a group because of a personal grudge are considered being a bane to the mud.

But, you need some method to take action though if you think the circumstances are dire enough. So its a fine line -- if you feel your action is defensible and it puts no one else in danger besides the character you have the problem with and does not amount to continual harrassment so they cant play, im sure you can come up with some creative stuff. Again, we would prefer to see you resolve it in a friendly fashion first. Think of it as a real world scenario -- you have a problem with someone, how would you handle it? Certainly some actions would end you up in jail or getting punished. Like I said, I dont want to baby sit the mud, but you can always ask an immort for assistance too -- id rather you do that than attempt to pkill someone, because in the end we get involved anyways.

Known pthief is of course an exception to all this.

That is prob the best picture Jason has ever posted. On a side note. Chrissy doesnt want to play sloth much anymore. Her thief Kail , just like all thieves, really sucks right now with the stablag. She just wanted to play a n00b and learn some stuff on her own and try to have a good time. Well long story short, she didnt have a good time in her n00b and told me last night shes probably not going to play this semester. I pretty much made Minstrel so that me and her could 2 man. So since Im bummed out about this whole mess, im just gonna play Dogs and keep to myself. If you need anything ICQ me , I will prob be notell. No more getting mad about bots in my groups and having to tell everyone 1000 times what to do. Have fun.
