This spell is cool, though I havn't found many practical applications for it. Any chance of being able to vis your marker?

Well, maybe. Why do you want to do that?

If we could vis the marker perhaps we could use to mark areas we might wish to check in on from time to time. i.e. a location that spellbooks are generally dropped we could vis the marker and see if a spellbook we might need is there.

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. I shall ask a second opinion from some other imms but probably I shall make it so you can vis markers. If I do, the price is going up to 2 drachma per book.

Yeah, reason = what Gondor said. Monitor an area, not necessarily a mob (ie. different use to spirit watcher.) Could see uses in quests especially. Thanks for considering :)

Being able to vis MOB repop without using a spirit watcher is gonna be cool.

I can't wait to see the many ways this will be ,how you say, resourceful

May be u shold make it to locate all the runes with same word in title instead of last created.

i.e. i created a rune 'Trupik wants to eat' and a rune 'Trupik wants to drink'. When i locate 'Trupik' or 'wants' i receive only :
You get a very clear reading: a glowing blue rune labeled 'Trupik wants to drink' is at Main Street in Bal Harbor Town somewhere on Thordfalan.

if it fixed we can create on-mud chopping block :P
i.e. we can create a rune 'WTB or WTS blablabla for xxx coins'

oh just found out.... we can locate 2.wtb :)

help spirit
SPIRITS

The different schools of magic each have their own mechanisms for summoning
insubstantial spirits to perform menial, repetitive, or unpleasant tasks.
Where a necromancer might enslave the shade of some unfortunate deceased
lout for these purposes, a noble priest could be sent a cherub from her
deity, and a bard might enchant a muse into the work with his song.

Spirits take on a limited substance by draining the magician's magical power;
this is felt by the magician as a reduced rate of mana regeneration. The
less puissant spirits don't have enough substance to interact with solid
objects, but can still serve as scouts and messengers. A magician controls
his spirits by telling them to do things. All spirits can obey some simple
commands:

"come here" return to the spirit's master
"where are you?" tell the master where you are
"dismissed" dissipate, and stop draining the master's mana

Spirits can also do other more specific tasks associated with the particular
type of spirits. For example, watcher spirits (one of the least powerful
species) can be told to "watch bob" and will report back on Bob.
