Alright, here's the gist of it.
We were getting echoes of metals clashing in the sky for a bit, and soon anvil's started falling on people. Each anvil strike would immediately kill a player.
Needless to say a quick locate object on anvil lead to the finding of the anvil sign near pipoit, near the village of sheol. THis had absolutely nothing to do with the quest and soon immorts made the BH castle smith gossip some. Curious adventurers headed that way and found a peculiar note on the smith. I believe it was Kheldar who found the aforementioned smith. Killing the smith allowed us to secure the following note :
[quote:exnu1epr]
Quit playing with your pathetic charms. I have a much more important task for you. You are to melt down and combine several
rare metals for me. Once amalgamated, pour them into special containers forged by one of your own. He will be sending them in
a secret hold upon the Spirit. Your colleague in the sky castle has deciphered an ancient parchment detailing the exact materials you will need
to smelt. I will be sending a messenger to tell you where to ship the canisters upon completion.

Lis, promptly found a note on castleblack smith. Killing him, allowed us decipher a new note
[quote:exnu1epr]
I no u dream of b-coming a elete dragun, purhaps even the next commander. I think I can make sur ur wishes r granted onst u decipher a special parchment
parchment four me. I acqired it from a very peculiar scribe, a man u ensis is brilliant, who werks n elf-skin. I
wont a full discription of the detales as sun as u have the scroll translate. All so, ship the instruckions two ur equaintence n the north.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
Firon deciphered that a man u ensis is actually Jeraim of M.A.G.I.C.
The following note was found :
[quote:exnu1epr]
You are too intelligent to be writing for others. I will provide you with an eternal supply of elves should you acquire an item for me. I am seeking
an ancient codex said to have been lost since the creation of the continents. It contains the secrets to a long forgotten weapon that I
desire. If you provide me with this treasure, I shall make good upon my promise. Soon, a messenger will arrive to pick up the scrolls.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
Following the smith theme, Shyla found yet another note on the infernite smith...
[quote:exnu1epr]
It has been far too long since you have made anything truly meaningful. I give you the opportunity to take part in creating something never
forged before. Use your talents to shape this rare metal into canisters. Make your life worthwhile once more and
forge them with your magic so they might withstand any temperature and keep their contents in a liquid state.
A messenger will be departing to retrieve them from you shortly.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
At this point, the enslaved ogre blacksmith near the Ogre caverns started complaining over gossip, and upon killing him, another note was secured :
[quote:exnu1epr]
Your rightful place is in the village. You should be the champion of your race, not the pathetic Kirafu. Use your strength to forge a mold
for me, and I will see that you take your rightful place amongst your kin. A fellow smith, not nearly as skilled as yourself, has
provided me with the details. In addition to these instructions, you will be receiving a precious alloy in sealed canisters. Deliver the
molds to the one known as Uralt-Ubel and you shall become an immortal legend.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
There were gossips going on telling us to seek out the messenger, in all the aforementioned notes.
THe messenger was actually the traitorous gold dragon [from dmount expansion], who was delivering a new note to the BH royal smith.
Upon that note was written
[quote:exnu1epr]
My master, your master, Malign requests your next batch of alloy.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
Exploring a bit more, I found a note on the Draconian Mage in the dmount expansion. He also poped a gem of souls. His note read :
[quote:exnu1epr]
You must kill the spy in your midst. He knows far too much of my plans. I also offer you this bauble as a token of my faith. Guard it with
your soul for it holds the demise of the wretched avatars.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
The elven spy, which was supposedly on our side, started gossiping that we had to kill Malign in one hour, or else we would all die.
We ventured into Orc mines at Island and quickly destroyed malign. When we did this, we found new notes, with more details...
[quote:exnu1epr]
These fools have proven far more resourceful than I anticipated. Do not fear. Should you perish in this world, I have encased your essence
and will be able to use it to return you to the physical plane once they have departed. Then, you will be able to
continue reigning terror upon them.
I am also in possession of the five souls who do my bidding to bring you the weapons of death. As long as I have them in my possession, the
extermination cannot be halted. Only one of my most trusted allies, one who resides in a lair of dark magic and
knows the mysteries of your kin, knows the secret to breaking my spell.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
and
[quote:exnu1epr]
I wish to grant your desire to wreck havoc and destruction on the mortals of this world. I have in my possession instructions to an ancient
artifact that will annihilate the puny avatars. I need your powers to create and enhance this relic to obliterate the realm. Use the molds
and spellbound alloy to construct magical anvils, which I shall unleash upon the humans. Once mankind is eradicated, I shall visit you and
return you to the skies.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
It was apparent we had to rekill all the smith's so that the problem with anvils does not occur again. SO anyways, we traced back and slowly but surely managed to kill all involved parties. and destroyed the gem of souls that poped. When we did this, the gem of soul showed us the vision of xibona.
Hastily, we marched there and slaughtered xibona, to which the quest ended.
We gained i think 10 drachma each, and a christmas present bag i think which works like an easter egg.
It gave us coins, spellbooks, drachma and even items.
Some of the items from it was restiveness spellbook, 10-15 drachma, 1000 -5000 gold, and an augury token.
All in all it was fun out of the daily routine of monotonous cycling.
At the end of this destiny told us to check the plaque at malign.
It read
[quote:exnu1epr]
For the crimes of plagueing our world with destruction to the point
of threatening human existence, the Red Dragon known as Uralt-Ubel has
been sentenced to spend eternity in this magical prison. To further
ensure that he can never escape this dungeon, half his body has been
turned to stone. Signed- the creators Jake, Krom, and Eon.
[/quote:exnu1epr]
At the end of the quest, Destiny stated that he/she will find new way to kill Us on January for new years, which I reckon is an indication of a quest. Get your mana regened, just incase.
Cheers.
P.S. Im writing most of this stuff based on memory, and errors are bound to occur, so bleah, feel free to correct me.
The two immortals that revealed themselves at the end of the quest was Tysmiha and Destiny. Great thanks for the fun and goodies.
Personally, I think Kheldar, Lis, Firon and Alias showed great knowledge and skill of the mud in figuring out what was going on, and in my opinion are the mvp's for this quest.
