Damage Gear vs Hand Damage

For a Monk Prime, does +dam eq = +hand dam eq?

Regarding hand, wrist, and arms?

Does a grip or strike do the same?

Hand dmg and regular dmg are the same for people not using a weapon. Grip does more than strike, don't you have a monk named Fable?

Yea Fable is my char :)

But I ment to say does grip and strike do the same with either dam or hand.

I would image +hand would give grips and strikes more damage then just
+dam. Just a question after looking at the eq page.

Try wearing +handdam eq with and without a weapon, it's just +dam eq that doesn't work while wielding.

Ok ok, like I said I was just wondering when I saw that - Rough Leather
Wristband -0.1 +1 Hand Damage, -1 Int. Didn't see a point of the -int or
even the eq because its worse then a regular +1dam wrist eq.
