You know normally I don't get involved and don't make waves because I want everyone to like me BUT I have had enough.
When we start losing new players because we have people here that childish children it just pisses me off. Dow has decided to quit today because of all the crap that has happened. You know everything on here is not some big conspiracy about some person or some group. Sometimes people just make character names that sound good to them. People grow up and leave the newbies alone. You want to pick on each other that are avatars and higher ups i won't get involved but when you mess with newbies you are messing with the future of this mud.

Wow, haven't been on in a while, I found this thread amusing until I got to shyla's post, I had hoped that the newbie hadn't found the crier yet and wasn't hearing about it in game:( I gotta say it straight......... I'm relatively new, only about 2 1/2 years under my belt, and the reason I haven't been on is because of stuff like this. On several occasions have had higher ups be confrontational towards me in my newb char... and call me a wuss but it ruins my fun:( I love sloth, but I think I'm leaning on taking another break from it, not because of the game, but because of the lack of cohesion of the player base, the overall attitude of the mud, I've been here forever and u can't run this area because my newb needs the xp..etc

I have a lot of respect for most of the players here, I will still be on to play (am a clannie on another mud and moving up levs) but don't think I can call this my home right now, once u sloth..blah blah blah

Will still be on, so not scrapping my most excellent eq sets yet:) Will still see u on the weekends alias, quake, auto, elsie, ramoth, etc

Resouh dont sweat the small stuff. If you read past Shyla's post youll realize its not a newbie and everyone can draw conclusions from there. Everyone on sloth gets along well for a npk mud. Complaining over areas is really silly in my mind. If you have to rely on 1-2 areas to play then you need to think of your overall sloth experience and mix it up. There are alot of thing to do on sloth other than run xp. I can log Medios on with 4 other Avatar thiefs in game and still have stuff that I need to kill regardless of who is runnin what.

DoW and Dragonsworn havent even started fighting and people are already weak in the knees. Whats up with that?

Overall I see clans cooperating and doing alot more to help lower level players on sloth.
