Looking for some tips

I've gotten fairly decent at running ss xp, but I'd like to be able to run
the eq mobs too. So I'm hoping someone can give advice on the following:

Archfiend/Phoenix in Arbo: How do I kill archfiend without losing all the crunchy caster types to the fire proc? Haven't tried phoenix yet, is it harder or easier than archfiend? Does it also fire proc?

Joraine/Maragore in temple ruins: How hard are these mobs? Comparable to Orcus? They have procs?

Bomanz in m.a.g.i.c.: The room fire proc is nasty, does that proc go off if you manage to get him out of the that room? Does sanctuary for the soul offer any relief to this? He chewed up a 80mana spell shield in a few rounds.

Sin/Kas in Sin's Keep: Whats the best way to tackle these guys if you have a large group? Have necros debuff both mobs and blast Kas down first?

Moon aura + fire bane should keep most people alive against this and other mass fire proc mobs. If you have folks with, say, <300 HP, spell shield them besides. I believe phoenix has the same proc. It has more attacks, but much less damroll; overall, it is far, far easier.

Maragore is simple enough, 60M grouped, but she can deal plenty of damage. She is thinner than Orcus but more painful. Overall they're of comparable difficulty.

Joraine himself hurts a bit less than Maragore, but he summons undead guards substantially like the ones that roam the hall south of him. This kind of mob is always good for killing groups. The tank better have point and stay alive, or the guards will start taking out random group members. I liken him to overlord-fiend; the undead guards are weaker than mine supervisors, but you'll generally face more of them. Moon aura tends to be good insurance in case things turn south.

I don't think he has a room-dependent proc. I haven't fought him in all possible rooms, so I can't be sure that we're thinking of the same proc. I would expect sanctuary for the soul to help, but I haven't seen it tried on that particular mob. Thunder clap can be a good blast for mobs with evil procs; it deals about 3/4 the damage of frostbolt and stops mob procs for 2-3 rounds on masterful. You always have trip and bash in a pinch.

Kas is thinner than Sin, so yes, focus on killing him first. I would take one tank out of the protect chain and have him attack Sin just as the normal tank attacks Kas. Assign one healo to keep this second tank alive. Have necros debuff both mobs and blast Kas down. Then proceed to finish Sin.

girl. Or you can just solo it etc, which is far easier.

Maragore is not comparable to Orcus because Orcus actually hits.
Maragore is like a 2-3 man mob. Joraine is about the same, but as
Atwell said, he summons guards which you can toss or kill. The main
thing with Joraine is his fear proc that makes people flee and **** up
your protect chain. MAGIC is a shitty area, so I don't go, but I would
imagine that you would spellshield and rfire and sanc... It all seems
pretty straightforward to me. If I were you, and you're really serious,
get a couple _smart_ avatars and go hit this shit 3man, so you can find
out firsthand without a major catastrophe.

As a bonus if you want a challenge, go play with Smaug or the Gallows Man, now those are tough mobs in shitty areas.

Smaug is probably the worst mob I've seen that requires the entire group to know what they're doing. It also helps to have been there before, a few times. He can impressively CF a bunch of avatars pretty quick.
