[quote="Medios":37h7xltn]One would think that a spell that reduces a stat would be better than a spell that doesnt. Something else to mention is the spell is called demonic strength, have you ever checked out the strength of a demon lately. The whole orange potion comment is a joke. This skill isnt like freeze either, its a top shelf spell for necro. Even if it gave +5 strength you still lose a con and that makes it < mage. Al and Aaron are both right, nobody is using this spell.

Laugh, most of the bard songs are completely unused, even the ones that are marinally useful. Doesn't make it an unuseful class.
Unholy strength sucks, I wouldn't use it as long as I had coins for potions.
While we're on the topic of broken skills, there's the drachma skill Track. Simarilcrum, or however it's spelled... Monk stun is pretty much useless, control weather is infinately useful, winds of fortune is useful once in a blue moon (usually right before you get relocate), dawnfire is useful if you're genetically bonded with a clock, feign death is both pointless and potentially fatal, circle is underpowered and almost guarentees your group will outrun you, etc.
I spent a lot of time tracking down spellbooks for spells I'll never use. If you think that one spell cripples the entire necro class, then maybe there's a problem.
