Honestly, I dont care who you are or where you came from. It doesnt mean you can just talk shit on gossip all the time. I was pretty mad that I your wtf and stuff was ignored and my stfu got me noshouted. I heard through the grapevine you finally got noshouted for using down and dirty profanity on gossip, and berated Shyla for asking you to stop. If the veteran players around here are goin to be mistreated and then punished for saying something, then this game is going down the drain. I think I speak for 99% of the mud when I say that your skill and knowledge of the mud way overrides the fact that you were lucky enough to be related to someone. This coupled with the fact that you know nothing about this game, makes you a total n00b. Your not going to get quest eq or free xp just because you drop Brian's name in every encounter. In fact you have joined the ranks of "scrub" for even mentioning it. When I first met Brian you were still in diapers, take a look around try to make friends instead of alienating yourself.

In all honesty, I think the best rule for Sloth, pertaining to what you say
to others is this:

If you wouldn't say it to someone's face within striking distance, don't say it.

But name dropping on Sloth usually just makes you hated... and possibly the most difficult thing to do is piss off Medios... Believe me, I have tried for fun.

Be cautious in your exploits on sloth, for just as in the real world, your efforts do not go un-noticed or un-punished.

For a while, before I left for about 5 years, there was a rash of 12-14 year olds playing, and I think the mud really took a turn downhill because of the maturity factor. You are putting a kid in what would amount to an adult situation. Personally I thought back then we should have a muture content advisory and not allow people under 18, but thats hard to enforce. Anyhow, hugger certainly hasnt changed my mind in this regard.

it's not the person's age - it is how he or she acts. i have seen some very immature adults on here (me included) and i am 33 years old. but i am with medios on this one. hugger STFU. i don't give a damn who you know or are related to. i know in real life several past and present players here and no one cares who i know. i can say that i know kjartan irl (i have met him) but WHO CARES???? and just because you know or are related to brian, so what? i am going to treat you like i do EVERYone else here - like a fellow mudder. what counts is how YOU act and talk. i can guarantee you that you will not want to last long here on sloth if you don't BE NICE. respect the players who have been here for 10 or 15 years and above all, leave shyla the hell alone. she is the kindest, most giving player here and everyone loves/appreciates her....she spends hours just cycling mobs for sbs for OTHER players and she teaches spells to anyone who POLITELY asks. any demands get ignored and certainly rudeness will get you #gagged. how would you like to never get raised or cr'ed again? your mouth is getting you there right quick. most of us here feel like a family and when you anger one, you anger several, if not all. if you doubt me, go back and read some OLD posts about other players who have in the past run their mouths as you do. i don't see them playing, and if they are, they are incognito
