According to Splork on gossip convocation will no longer pull people into nogate or key areas.

If the leader used a key to get into the area, then I don't see why they shouldn't be able to use convo to that area. Nogate I can understand.

Anyways, the change has nothing to do with key entrances. The spell already had a nogate check but it wasn't working properly. Now it is...

Hey Splork, while were on the topic with those nightmares im going to side track to that genie bottle. Is it meant to have a 7 hour real time recharge to use again?

Can't Splork make it so you can't convoc just into quest areas? No convocation into nogate areas is kinda messed up.

For example, Ebony Tower is nogate (all of it I don't know for sure yet). I remember being in an xp group with Minstrel on Lyme with like 10 group members, and him yanking us in. So are you going to require now that all group members obtain a key to ET, and each use the key, slowing down the group?

Do what? All I know is an entire group was convoc'd into ebony tower. I tried to convoc a duo partner into ebony after change, and it didn't work. So dunno.

Convocation works as it should now, it will not be changed back to work in nogate areas...

What Bit meant by his post is; ET, Desert, DoT, etc have been entered using the same method for years. If you want to enter these areas, pop the keys like everyone else had to do. The only people slowing down the group are those who refuse to take the necessary steps to do this:P

Say I'm in ET and the leader is in ET, he can't pull me to where he is? Thats weird coz if a group is running in ET and members get attack by bats and left behind, convo cannot be used?
