As for me - 150dr is a right price "

Plus make the token and the item personal once it's been changed to prevent people from modifying some item just to seel for a ton.

More elite items means that we will need quite a few more autoquests to earn new drachma as most of them can only be done once...

Yeah... there's a few things I don't understand about that, but SCl Prime? I'm curious when Clerics replaced Bards as a fighter type.

Actually, I'd kinda like to see something like this:

Kjartan's Amulet, Held low, +10 HP/Mana/Move Regen

A definate stretch, but doesn't even compare to the original :)

I think one of the top items could be 10ma 1mr leggings. I would also like to see +hp clasps for ac mode.

Lets try to have a serious post here, not some ignorance. Here is what I have learned from my years playing sloth. This is a generalization. I would like to stimulate some better ideas here.

low/med quest items usually have either .1 extra ac, a stat, some hp/mv/ma regen possibly, 5hp/ma etc.

high quest items have +dam, extra ac +hp, extra mana regen + mana

new spelldam, healbonus, uc, charisma etc fogs it up but you can use your imagination.

Shield of the rose is costly item because its 1mr on a slot where you cant get mr. Boots of Forestwalker are the same basic idea. Adding +1mr and maybe some mana to a item is gonna cost etc. Kroks idea about leggings is what im talking about, no multiclass mr legs in game that I know. Druids dont need anymore regen :P

Same thing applies to dam, handdam,stabdam. Shield of south ice and gaunts of mastery are examples, normal ac with gravy damage bonuses. Monks win out in the shield division, 2 awesome shields. The other shield was warrior prime until flail was changed, now its just warrior. Shields for other classos would be cool. Stabdam/circledam/weapon eq seems limited to gaunts and some other stuff that I dont see anyone buying.

From what I have seen of undead control gear its mostly made for an ac mode which I dont understand. Most players change gear to animate, otherwise you would never be able to cap without a huge xp/elite eq expense.

Spell/healbonus has some really cool items not sure how much work it needs. Charisma gear is also well thought out, bards can easily get ac with the items.

That being said, think of eq that will actually benefit more than just yourself. Heres a few starters.

a cloak of vigor - .7 ac +1 str, 2hpreg double-40
Thalassasn Royal Gauntlets - 0.4ac +15hp , any exp noncaster
essence of the eternal flame - 2 mr +10spelldam, exp mage (low)
Pauldrons of the Warlord - .9 15hp 2hp reg , adept avatar (shoulders)
a black steel bracer - .4 15hp +1 saving_spell, Supreme any class
Shield of the Widowmaker - 1.2 10hp 2weapon_dam Wa and novice avatar
Wand of the Almighty - .6 ac 10healbonus 5 hp (low)
sleeves of the undead lord - 1mr 2 uc Supreme Necro trip-40
a pair of black spiked tabi - .4 +dam +10 stab_dam Supreme Thief Exp Av
a set of glowing minstrel pouches - .5 ac 5hp 1 charisma Bard Tri-40 :P (waist)

Im burnt for the minute, lets toss some ideas around. This is our game and if Splork wants feedback lets go on the offensive here. Ill post some more later.

elite eq

I really like most of those ideas. My input would be to make sure that the elite eq you ask for is something special. Collecting dr should be something special, and when you finally save enough dr to buy an item, it should be something that helps. Also, eq creeps over time. There's no way around it, so we could plan for it. As we ask for items, try to build in some room between the current in-game eq and the items we ask for. You know the new imms that are building are going to soon be asking for eq approval. For a nice item, they may try to ask for something that has a tiny bonus over top in-game item, or a decent bonus but including a negative side effect. It would stink if they come up with an item they want, but the admin have to say "well, it's fine to have a helm with 3 hp over the in-game items, but we already have an elite item that's +3 and it's supposed to be the top of the line...declined".

I've always really liked the elite cloaks that went in early. Very nice items, quite affordable, and there was some distance between the elite items and anything in-game.

Clasps are quite nice also, as the bonus doesn't have to be massive for the clasp to be useful...since it adds to the eq worn. I've always thought that a couple of matching ring clasps might be nice, depending on the effects.

Well, that's my input. It's been awhile since I reviewed recent additions to the eqlist so I'd hesitate to recommend specific items at this point. Maybe over the long weekend :)

Most of us consider AC as a high priority parameter in chars build.
But we have only few (3!) items we can buy for drachmas with
better than ingame AC.

I like an idea of -.9 guards and think it would be great to have

I have a suggestion everyone I've talked to is in favor of, I just don't have any creativity left after I leave work to come up with names, so I'll post here asking for help.

An inv container item for sidhe charms and shards. It would be nosteal and let you use charms while they're inside it, though you would still have to drop shards on the ground to sing. It would hide those items from item counts when renting. Unless I'm mistaken, this would make it a bard version of the thief poison bag.
