If you have a +10 alignment and protection from evil up... why can you still get demon bound? This doesn't make sense. There should be a fail safe against it, if certain conditions are met.

Well as with everything, there are no guarantees.

You can still be webbed through rwebs, hermetic res fails occasionally, lost concs ect ect.

There's plenty of support in folklore for the idea that witches can conjure up demons to harrass good people. Just because they're good doesn't always make them immune to harrassment.
