so i just had another water container stolen, i guess you could call it rare.
but you could just call it a water container like any other.

see i'm glad we have player thieving because i also get so amped when i steal things like this.

i guess i could just be missing the point of this whole thing but could someone tell me why this is helpful for getting new players to join or old players to stay. or even why it's fun to do.

On another note, does anyone know who this Forest fellow is?

I've had secret admirers in the past,...But ever since I started uncovering
them one by one and they are not-so-secret anymore, most of them are
open about their homosexual tendencies (Guinex would kill me if I didn't
include this shoutout so here it is: GUINEX <3) but Forest is something
else. He constantly sends me tells, writes me love MUDletters, follows me
around but denies his unearthly desire for me whenever I call him out on
gossip. It makes me sad that closeted individuals still exist. Life is unfair.

I have a system for dealing with pthiefs. It doesn't work well, but I don't see a better way. Unfortunately it punishes me, not the pthief.

I check live info and if any known pthieves are logged on, I don't.

If any log-on while I play, I leave.

This is my choice and I'm not suggesting others do the same.

It is my way of saying, to the powers that be, that pthieving has made the mud a pain in the poolp.

It pisses me off that I can no longer recommend this great mud to new players. It is not a welcoming atmostphere. This is true in spite of the efforts of almost all the players to be helpful, friendly and forgiving of us noobs. How can I vote for or say this is friendly supportive mud when most comments and gossip are about a few players that want to spoil your fun?

FYI. I've not had continuing problems with pthieves since I follow the annoying requirements of returning to an inn or such place every time I need to read, or to regen, or mem, or any any time I get a pop. Read this! This is annoying and slows down the play.

Pthieving steals enjoyment. If I want aggravation, I don't need to come her e get it.
