Fighting Back!

I've done some stupid things chasing pthiefs... just yesterday I windran into jail And another time while attempting to idol dive poolp he entered my portal and dispel magic me...

STOP LAUGHING!

1) A tatic I copied from someone else is charming some aggro mobs from cata's and taking them to the inn. A shadow will take a naked lvl 20 pthief.

2) without being necro you can attempt to idol dive them by pushing them into a portal - but I think this is dangerous.

3) acid shower - avatar *sigh*

4) druid fighting in a safe room - seen forest do it but I think its an avatar thing as well. I've never seen hellmaster rent so quickly! cackle! Then he brings on Derro to mouth off and lick his wounds, what a retard.

Thats all of the techniques I know After shadowing sorabji twice he's taken to resting at Sir Faur's in weavers. How can I get him out of there? Or get some aggro followers in?

Might I also add, a clever thing I see hellmaster do is mess with emotes a lot. Just last night he emoted a push that did not actually happen. I think he was hoping I would try and "correct" the push which would take me out of the safe room. They also like to emote steals as it causes you to chase them out of safe rooms, and they learn the triggers you have for them on steal emotes.

Poolp used to d/c when he got webbed and log back in instantly as it cut the "squirm" lag.

Please post helpful tips for killing pthiefs etc here...

A slight variation on this is to charm a truly tiny aggro mob and assist it once it attacks the desired target, just makes it slightly less dangerous in safe rooms where if your shadow pkills a lowbie you won't be able to push them and raise. Tangle vines in the jungle and the mugger in town work well for BH (niether see invis).

And you're right, only shift forms that can pkill in a safe zone are piasa and possibly seadragon (40 av and 32 av respectively).
