Quest this Sunday!

Postby Enea » Thu Jan 26, 2006 10:14 pm

Hi again everyone,
I'm in a quest-running mood, so here's the new one:

Between now & Sunday at 1PM CST (the same time zone as the mud, so just type 'time started' to compare), find my incarnation somewhere in BH, and follow through with its quest. It's a very simple one, I think you'll agree.

On Sunday at 1PM CST I'll gather together everyone who's taken the quest at my incarnation. Don't worry about being in a specific location ahead of time, I'll be transing everyone automagically. Once that's done I'll explain the goal of this quest & all that joyful stuff.

Please pass word about this! I won't object if the quest leader (whoever it happens to be) allows people in who didn't take the pre-quest, but end-of-quest rewards will be limited to those who did take it.

Just so you know, my plan is make a pot of drachma at the start of the quest, based on the number of people in the group multiplied by a constant only I know, divided by the number of crashes caused by monks using the stun skill, divided by the phase of the moon (full = 1, gibbous = 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, crescent = 1/8), multiplied by the number of pets I have.

When the quest ends, I'll automagically gather those who pre-quested & distribute the drachma pot amongst the groupies-- whether or not it's an even distribution has to do with how well everyone grouped, the mood I'm in at the end, the price of peanut butter at the grocery market that day (Sunday is my grocery-shopping day, and usually puts me in a good mood), and how often you guys have made me laugh.

Sound like fun?

1 quest, 1 crash, lots of deaths...

Just like the old days :)

Those assassins are less fun when you're playing a caster!

Still kinda fun, that they were able to take down the WHOLE group...
Then again 10 Trap Assassin casting area spells can usually kill a group
pretty fast.
But was kinda funny that Enea had to raise everyone, cause it would have
been a VERY VERY VERY bad CF of eq and corpses. It was fun!!!

I only found one golem.. and then the bugger wandered away from where I found it initially. Same area, not same room tho.

Enea is evil ...but in a good way.

What ever happened to ZARC???
I remember back in the day his quests was a join at your own risk, if u lose
eq on deaths or CF. You better get it somehow before it crashes!
