Jecka Bot to be Penalized

Postby mistweaver » Wed Jun 12, 2013 9:24 am

Dear Immortals!
Please deal with the renowned bot called Jecka, who is running Firenewts, Asylym and N. Pathways. He is usually on during daytime in Russia, he runs the same mobs/areas over and over, has notell on, his group is locked, he does not respond to any actions, except for recalling self and renting when pushed. He has been botting for quite a long time, several players have reported it, he has been jailed at least once and still he continues botting. Yesterday I followed him in Firenewts and watched his bot script. Usually, when he goes into the room he starts flailing several times, so I webbed and recalled him, then recalled self. He continued his route (struggling in webs) and then started flailing! After I saw a demon appearing and slapping him for trying to flail when I was in the same room (at West Gate), I went one room west and returned to West gate after a few seconds. As I expected, Jecka's bot script made him flail at the sash. I watched the Sash morted Jecka, waited for him to die (gossiped he was down in case anyone wanted to raise him) and pushed him to the scribe's before he corpsed. After he was up later on, I restored him to full and notified he died to his bot scripts. He ran away and rented. And today he logs on and starts whining on gossip that I pkilled him! Please check the logs and deal with this bot at last!

Why do you interfere with other's actions in the first place?
Mind your own business!

Dear Yasik,
There are certain rules in this game, please type help rules ingame. There are imms, who observe the compliance of players to these rules, but they can't be always on, this concerns Russian daytime in the first place. Therefore, some illegal actions may go unnoticed. And it is my strong belief that every law-abiding player shall report of any unlawful actions he witnesses, otherwise he is guilty of concealment of these actions (at least it is true in my country, moreover citizens are allowed to take certain actions against the law-breakers, but this not the place to discuss it). So you may mind your own business, when you see a person breaking one of the (so few) rules of the game at your will, but it would not be very wise to expect the same from all other players.

From my experience, handling incidents on sloth is usually done very poorly, it has nothing to do with rules and totally dependant on immortal. Might be one of the reasons sloth keeps getting shrinking playerbase. You probably should not expect anything concerning someone else rule breaking. Anyway good luck with it.

Highly doubtful Alris and the player was passworded almost a week ago, pretty sure most of those involved probably realized something was stopping him from logging in and botting further. Not really sure why someone whom wasn't even involved felt the need to take a dig at our Immortals even though the incident was well taken care of in advance of the post.

Hope you feel better...
