Might be a bit old but still:

Marc Faber’s comment on the US economy
September 11, 2008

The federal government is sending each of us a $600 rebate.

If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money goes to China.
If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs.
If we buy a computer it will go to India.
If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.
If we purchase a good car it will go to Germany.
If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.

The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in US. I’ve been doing my part.

Vixn's post brings up an interesting point. The fact that we get our goods from overseas may sound like a bad thing, but it's not. Enacting protectionism would be the bad thing to do here.

Probably but it's too expensive to fly to Thai and buy slut there with just $600, eh? I'd ask gov to give more cash!

You don't want to do that in Thailand.

Ever hear of the ladyboys?

Speaking of lady boys... our new next door neighbor is friends or related to one...

I was out playing cricket in the street one night... (cricket is a popular British sport for all you uncircumcised) and there is this stiletto of this lady walking towards us. They aren't walking normal, it's a real "show" kinda walk. A feminine type of overdone "swagger."

The boys I'm playing cricket with start laughing, and they say to me... that girl is actually a guy... I'm like no flippin way! They said yeah he is, he used to go to our school.

So we are all laughing about it after he goes inside. A little later one of us hits a tennis ball over there fence. Of course, no one wants to get it. But "he" was out the back and heard the tennis ball drop. "He" appears at the fence line, and chucks it back to us... It was a man's throw...

I still can't believe it... :D

PS Economy stuff...

personaly as I see it the only way to fix our economy in the US is to close the borders on trade and immigrations. yah I know I sound prejudis or how ever you spell it but I'm not unless you are illegally here then we'll talk but at any rate yah that is only 1 mans oppinion.

[quote="CNN":15ilt4ax] Despite problems, there is optimism in Beijing. "Our common interests are much bigger than our differences," says a government official who asked to remain anonymous. "We don't see either side making significant shifts in policies."

Meanwhile, China analyst James McGregor already notes a shift in tone: "The U.S. used to come here and lecture China," he says. "Now the US is coming here to kiss up to China."[/quote:15ilt4ax]

Would be very "hillaryous". It seems that Clinton gonna trade democracy and freedom for Chinese cash.
What's next? Would she try to find a human soul in Putin's eyes?
