Well if I had to choose one I would go for buying a spell for 190 or a skill for 170 million but would like if it was limited to only 1 spell/skill so that would keep it so every one wasnt the same. Now about a sixth class why? Where would all the np's go? We would be all the same 5 of 8 classes doesnt make many differences in classo so I suggest again instead of letting people get 6 classes just make a few more new classes like alchemist or barbarian same amount of work for way better change. Think of all the ones to come back to be the first 5x40 barbarian or alchemist.

Then again, being able to cast blizzard, have massive critical hit,wraithtouch with deathtouch with mirror image and aeriel servant up, mastered in the sleight of hand arts and shapeshift + shapeshift mastery.

you know, i am really sick to death of the make a new character arguement. not everyone has the time or inclination to be brad and have an army of characters. some of us want to continue to enjoy the characters we currently have and some of these chars have been around long before newclasses went in and we had to work hard - very hard if you are someone like shyla who played mostly by telnet - to get them to where they are today. there are collectively hundreds of thousands of hours devoted to the old characters and to have someone casually tell you make a new one it's like talking to a mother and father and telling them to birth another child. we of course will - and have - made new characters but we still want to enjoy playing our old characters - not have people put us at the back of the group and be told we are only there for meat or backup - or the biggest slap in the face having someone tell a nc prime to be healo or blasto. get a fukking clew.

it's about getting pissed off at things like warriors should be the tickest, toughest, strongest characters in the game, not a poor second to a caster with pets and spec shield and wraithform and fluidity. it is absolutely ridiculous that a high lev char with pets and supps can go solo what was designed by the builder to be a group mob.

and while i am ranting i am going to toss in my occasional rants of we should be able to heal self while blind and all chars should inherently see inventory. i don't know why inventory is not "in hands" when objects like keys and tickets and scrolls and etc have to be "in inventory" to be used.

i also don't understand why a blind person cannot cast a spell on him/herself (no one by that name here!) well actually yes i am! i am not suddenly an amnesiac who doesn't know my own name just because i am blind! and yeah i know where to direct the healing magic because I CAN FEEL WHERE MY OWN PAIN IS! i can understand not being able to cast on others - it makes sense. but on self? come on....let's be a little reasonable and think it through. if i were to kick you in the shin and then blindfold you and hand you an ice pack, would you still be able to place that ice pack on the sore spot on your leg? i am betting yes.

They could relax the multiplayer rule as a trial run. That way I can be a t/w/mo/b/ma/c/d/n.

Or maybe that potion-maker could be upgraded to sell potions for what ails ya.

Tap, 1 more class is not going to make as much difference as you tend to portray, and no it will not lead to slippery slope of whining for more classes, but having 4 out 8 classes sometimes just suck and you miss out on skills that you really want to have but not necessarily make you a super-killing machine.

50 mana or 50hp added to your char, that is 2 winds or half a hit from a strong mob for 40 levels - Will it make you overpowered ? Dont think so

Few choice skills you can have. Is wraithform or greater fluidity really going to make a warrior all that invinsible as some seem to suggest ? Dont think so.

Shapeshifting, backstab and deathgrip and whatever other awesome skills we have should be dependant on where it is positioned in the class, and should be really tuned down if it's chosen as a 6th class shouldnt it.

It is just a chance for some chars that wrongfully picked their class, or are one of those old-timer chars to have a better chance. So instead of getting both wraithform and greater fluidity charms for old timer tanks, they will now have to get ONE of, not both.

A better chance at what exactly? Nothing stops them from reaching 5x40. Hell most of them already are. They can buy certain spells/skills with other bonus's. For the most part, once you reach 5x40, you are pretty much done. I don't know of any person who has a 5x40 char and nothing else. They do in fact make a new char, level it up to 5x40 and start over.

This thread is blah, but there's no interesting threads, so I'll whine into the wind also.

Here's my pet peeves:

Can't quaff pots while blind. Should be able to type quaff potion and whichever potion is at top of inventory list gets quaffed.

Can't quaff pots while drowning. If I'm still conciousness why can't I grab my trusty water breathing potion and force it down. I pretty sure I could drink from a beer bottle underwater, although I haven't tried. Seems like you could force air into your cheeks and let the beer/potion fall into your mouth with the air going up into the bottle.

The spiritual hammer proc should work against ether. Seems kinda retarded when u get the proc msg that the slam passes right thru the target.

2.tank bug is still there. If leader is 2.tank the person under leader in protect order gets pawned.

Druids should be able to use the familiar spell or something similar that summons a familiar from nature.

Necromancers should have equivalent to acid blast, given that they specialize in debuffs.

High level mob saves should come down just a hair. Even lowering them by 1 would help. When u run xp without a damner, it seems like blinds are useless. I'd suggest adding a +1 save against spell affect onto the curse spell also. (+save is penalty)

Masterful affects were really cool, but then were nerfed. I wish we could have them back.

I think mages should be able to attempt dispelling a particular affect. I don't see how thieves are able to accomplish this (purloin), when mages are not.

Nofly rooms are an unnecessary irritation. I just don't get the 'You can't fit thru here bobbing around like this!' msg. It's irritating and doesn't make much sense. I don't imagine that when I cast fly I start uncontrollably bobbing up and down like the laughing scene in Marry Poppins.

Hrm whining is kinda fun...

Druids are overpowered as it is, no reason to beef them up at all. If you want the find familiar spell, make a new char and include mage.

Mages are also overpowered especially thief/mages. Thieves needed something to make them more unique in gameplay. They are without a doubt, the most underpowered class ingame at the moment.

Well we already have gorge in game. Now we just need a skill called relax sphincter or explosive fart. Then another skill to capture the gas in the fart underwater in your mouth so u can quaff your wb potion.

when you enter the water you can hold your breath for a period of time, most people have about 2 liters or more air in their lungs at any given time.

you used to be able to quaff potions when blind if you were holding it in the held low position.

the no fly rooms pretty much negate the ability to buy fly from the mayor.

I would pass on greater fluid spell if offered, but not wraithform for my tank, fluid charms last much longer than form charms and are not unfeasible.

Saves on mobs are crazy.

The coders have lives too and they probably don't want to spend it adding a class just so people can complain about bugs noone would catch when something is first implemented. Don't like your classo start a new one, tough shit. Many people have done it,


healing self while blind- yes please.

seeing inventory through a spell that costs mana wouldn't be overpowered for non-thief/bards/ferrets
It helps when doing cr's to make sure you weren't looted before you run for your life again.

give necros back eth phantoms or give them 800 hp, currently they suck more than wraiths. 250hp 2 attacks and take 4x40+25 to get- Wraiths take 1x40 get more attacks and more hp.

give me cleric supps based on total levels like necro pets are passed out. I would rather have a pitfiend than a juju. hmm 2-3 corpses and 20 mana vs 18 corpses and 175 mana and having to go to a specific place and wait 4 mins to get it. funny how necro quad can get swordwraiths but a cleric quad can only get rabbit -at max levels.

bring back masterful acid blast always blinds please.

want to end players trying to solo all the big mobs, remove nightmares ability to stop regen except on epic mobs. If you can't 1 run it it wont be feasible.

give warriors some more toys so people will play them, the autoreporter was a very nice addition allowing for actions w/o whiner lag.
remove honor penalty for killing in the castle as this made almost an entire newb leader xp area useless for those who care about honor.

ok, I'm sure most people stopped reading this post after about the first 2 lines so Ill go back to studying.


2 more classes and 3 more certs till no more studying for a long time for me- I hope.
