I've put my time into writing an area lately. Do you know how hard it is to write 10's and 10's of room descriptions? Our area builders do a wonderful job, it must take hours and hours of work to create a nice area. We need to be more thankful to our area builders. I for one read very little descriptions but I will be taking the time to appreciate there work as of now... as of when the mud is up

Yes...

1) Everyone is bored out of their brain
2) People are rediscovering they have a real life
3) People are wanting to ignore point 2 already

For those like myself, refreshing this page every few minutes in the hope of a new post, come here and help me keep the word slothmud alive!

Crash? What Crash?

Postby Elsie » Fri Apr 21, 2006 1:39 pm

[quote:11muktlk]MUD Connector: Connection Checker 2.1
(starting up: Fri Apr 21 11:32:25 2006 )

Attempting Connection to 'slothmud.org 6101'... Failed
The Connection checker was not able to connect to 'slothmud.org 6101'. This could be caused by several factors:

The machine 'slothmud.org' is possibly down, or linkless at the moment
The mud server has crashed and has not rebooted (yet).
The network is unreachable

In case the server is just temporarily down you might try waiting 5 or 10 minutes and then checking the connection again. [/quote:11muktlk]

5 or 10 minutes ? Ha!

Are we still supposed to be voting today?

[quote="Mosaix":fab4029w]This has been the longest running time that Autolycos hasnt been dead. Its a new world record. Warning to Auto, if you die in this world its for real. So stay indoors as much as possible!!!! Dont touch anything, especially if its sharp or loaded.[/quote:fab4029w]

I'll have you know, I haven't died in almost 3 weeks. But that is quite possibly due to the fact that I have not been on. I have been enjoying this strange anomaly called a life.. it is quite interesting.. everyone should try it.

Well, everyone except for Mosaix, you should just try a cianide shake with a arsenic chaser

Simpest answer? No one can connect to it.

It was brought to the attention of the creators who cannot connect to it to reboot it. So, it was brought to Jake who has to contact the host and figure out why the machine isn't talking to the net.

Unfortunately, this happened once before and it turned out that someone else was using our address, which meant the game was still going, we just weren't there.

We haven't really heard much beyond that.

Postby Mystery » Fri Apr 21, 2006 3:02 pm

Well as long as we didn't get into the top 3 slot on mudconnect I'd say vote vote vote.. at least we can grab some numbers and edge forward... that way when Sloth is back up we can easily slide into a higher slot and actually be up for peeps to come check us out.Wait, did I say that?

F'n ventriloquette spells... stop that!!!
