Damn shame. Sloth down on a day when I was actually free and could mud for hours. Instead of just logging on and being afk.

So. How long is Sloth gonna be down?

Don't look at me, I was reading a spellbook at the scribes. I think, but could be wrong, that the server is in Canada so if anyone is to be at fault, blame Canada :twisted:

Gosh, South park was funny last night. Minch and Gary started out rough but the joke got funnier and funnier as it went on.

"Blame Canada!" wasn't bad, either.

I would note that the webcam is up, so it is probably not a problem with the server. As mentioned above (err, below on this board) it probably needs KJ and/or Splorkie to intervene. Wait. Relax. It will come back up.

still down? cant get a ping and tracert stops on the same ip that reports the destination cannot be reached....and its not sloth's ip...

Hmm, sloth is down for me too and I'm in Australia. Different tracert for me, what ever is down, is close to the sloth end.

Sometimes because of my location I can't connect, well everyone from the US plays on

Is their a way to configure Wintin to try to re-connect every few minutes? It interupts my time-wasting to keep hitting connect every few minutes.

I feel to firstly apologise for wasting your time wasting zing, but here is how you do it.

It was splork or 12345 that posted a wintin script that allows you to type in a command and it fully logs you into sloth and runs your startup scripts...

Get a copy of that and paste it in.

Now in wintin set a #timer to call that login alias

Or you can just do it simple like this... but it won't log you in if its up...

#timer connect *:*:60 {#ses slothmud.org 6101}

The 60 is 60 seconds.

Don't forget to #untimer if it works!!!

Splork was logged but he could have as easily been afk asleep or whatever. Guess when he comes back and sees it he'll check and see whats up... in the mean time..if anyone wishes to start a flame war or bash Autobot to pass the time.. :twisted:
