Forged at peaceful monk

You hand the components over to the peaceful monk.
The monk cringes back from the fleeting essence of death, but manages
to use the bloodstained garment to neutralize its effect. Applying the
essence to the grimoire, the book swings open. Turning near the back,
the monk reads a chapter on using negative energy to create the wraith
undead. Nodding to himself, the monk grabs hold of the claws and speaks
an advanced incantation of the dead while pouring the affliction of a
thousand souls onto the claws. Suddenly, the diffusion of negative
energy weakens on the claws, leaving only a few traces.

The monk places the remaining elements into a bowl-shaped rock at his feet.
Rolling his sleeves up, he wields the shadow hammer and forges the items
into a precious metal. Speaking another incantation from the book of the
dead, the monk imbues the claws.

Smiling with exhaustion and pride, the monk hands you a set of moonstone
claws of midnight.
