Wow, thanks for squandering months of effort

You are carrying:
a warg pelt
a mithril wand
an ethereal key
a short knobbly wizards staff..It emits a faint humming sound!
a mesh of mithril rings [5] (post forged 25 ornate mithril rings)
a judge's gavel
some flaming raiment..It has a soft glowing aura!
a mithril helm
a suit of glowing, diamond-encrusted platemail..It has a soft glowing aura!
a ball of gold thread (post forged)
a ball of mithril thread (post forged)
a congealed flame..It has a soft glowing aura!
a pulsating ball of lava..It has a soft glowing aura!

Blackmore quickly sings a verse of 'hymn of an artisan'.
Blackmore expertly strums some chords on lyre.
A skilled ghost artisan relaxes to your song and works with efficiency!

forge shirt-mithril
There is a tremendous explosion!

A skilled ghost artisan says 'Yes, yes, I can also forge...but please wait.'

Blackmore sighs loudly.

A skilled ghost artisan says 'Oh, deary deary me, just one more cog to put in.'

say thanks for trying
You say 'thanks for trying'

32 cp and 3.5 mil coins later...i end up with absolutely nothing.

Wow...somehow you would think that with a prime bard singing, a very tough forge like that would not fail. This aspect of the mud with the chance for blown forges completely sucks and is counter productive for the player base (esp one in which you're trying to tell new chars that investment of large amounts of time for distant but achievable goals is worthwhile). I can understand small forges blowing at a higher rate...but come on, this is elite, quite hard to forge, eq. Complete bullshit. -Zeke

So instead of a message saying, "hey, I think something is wrong with the ghost artisan forges, because I had a
very hard forge poof. can you please look at it?"

we get a message full of sarcasm and ended by profanity on an open forum.

i talked to Splork and he said i could modify the forge to not poof so often,
and that i can fully reimburse you instead of a partial reimburse as would be standard.

see? a nice calm message would have worked too and the end result would
be almost the same, with the exception that i would be left in a way better
mood.

either way. all you need to do is find an immortal willing to go through the trouble
to reimburse you now.

Sorry for the hostile nature before. It was right after it happened and I was frustrated (considering I had others helping me cycle for the last cp at the time...it was double as frustrating).. I didn't know the imms would be open to looking into it, and spose I should have asked. Thanks for the responsiveness and generosity. -Zeke

Zek, you did everything right and don't have to apologize.
Breeze, drama is an important part and aspect of the game. Too bad it happens less frequenty nowadays compared to good olde past.

I code things/do imm things to relax after a long day at work.

If I can't relax then I don't need to be here.

Regardless, the problem was solved.

Everyone moved on.

World didn't end.
