AREA OPENER: Forest of Aaost (Begins on January rd, 2002) With the death of the famous explorer Nimyd, questors are needed to uncover his murderer! The Forest of Aaost, and its hidden kingdom are too large to search alone. Before his death, Nimyd spoke about a
kingdom nuzzled within the tree tops of this forest. A nearby volcano continually dusts tree branches. He warned about avian creatures with big-bellied bodies, tiny wings and long necks. And, how they use their
hook-nailed claws, thorn -like beaks and magical powers to defend their race. So gather friends and form alliances, to group and navigate the harsh environment. Go there with containers Search the forest, the trees, the land, and all inhabitants so that you can gather a fourth of a hundred items. Snatch every clue AND also collect as many of each clue
as you can. This will insure the identity of the murderer. A combination of these two requests will determine one of many specific rewards that will be offered to you, for your help. [color=red:36pxszod]Know this! Keep the equipment that you find when on your quest. To solve this murder, you will need to hand back items of evidence such as berries, drinks, maps, leaves, vines, feathers, hides, branches, weapons and ALL other UNWORN elements.[/color:36pxszod] Do NOT hesitate... I beseech that you help in this quest! To do so, you MUST visit the
postmaster in Bal Harbor and send mail with your name, to Seda. You will have 8 days to find and collect numerous pieces of evidence. The LAST
day to join this adventure will be on January 8th, 2002. A route to the Forest of Aaost will be completed, and offer access to the forest on January 3rd, 2002. You will be able to continue your search for items of
evidence until January 11th, 2002. On that day (January 11th), Seda will take your containers of evidence and review them. Be sure you are available
on a continent upon Seda's request for you to visit her after 8:00 PM EST, Friday - January 11th. She will call you in an orderly manner with regards
to your mud-mail-entry when joining this quest. If you can NOT be there, it will be upon you, to set up a day and time, (previous to January 11th) to meet
with Seda, so that she can secure the evidence which you have collected.
You will need to mud-mail her about your absence to determine a favorable,
mutual date. It would be wise to do this early, or she may NOT have time to
review your collections. Anyone who does not turn in their containers of
evidence will be ineligible to receive rewards. In the end, after the murderer
is found, a list of questors and their rewards will be posted on January 12th,
2002.
Before his untimely death, Nimyd expressed there were two very rare
pieces of evidence, but he did not mention the names of these items.
Will it be YOU that is lucky enough to find one of these two items??

Did you pop or find this branch in Aaost? It's probably a left over quest item, but somehow doubt it's an AQ. Note the mention of the branch in the above paragraph.

Got it from Nalva with a bunch of other trash items. I always wonder why to have all these items to trade if there is no use for it. I identified all of them and it says nothing but trash.
