Being rescued may be a privilege. But to be ignored on gossip, told oh sorry was afk.. fine, whatever.. but if your going to do that then vision, send a tell about something not related to the person trying to retrieve corpse and items.. have them get even madder and comment on gossip about leaving them alone they are 'naked and pissed' you best not start flaming gossip with oh where i wanna see comments.

I understand its a "privilege" to be rescued.. Nice comment from a mud that is suppose to be group orientated and want to help each other.

Well i guess its a privilege to have a bard in your group or to sing forges for you so they don't blow up.

Have fun creating a bard prime... Its an experience you won't forget.
Don't worry..this bard won't be asking for rescue help on gossip anytime soon nor will she hear any cries for help.

You should treat others as you wish to be treated. Sometimes people make choices that you don't like - but are in your best interests. These are the friends you need... not necessary the ones you like. Juggleblood just wrote what 95% of what people probably thought... so how is he really any different? Yet you wish to point him out?

You might have valid grievance sirrico, but you don't solve it by flaming everyone else and calling them bots. Two wrongs won't make this right. At the end of the day you've come across just as bad as the people you've accused... and that's why you should grow up and be a man by showing some character. It's ok to feel hard done by... but you don't do this crap.

At the end of the day you have to be the best that you can be... and not expect this from other people... because it won't always come. We will only be responsible for our own conduct.

Kanae, my playing experiences with you have been pleasant, and I take you to be a pretty good person. If it grates you to feel "used" all the time, then I would stop what your doing with those who "grate" you. I think things only have virtue, if it's authentic and from your heart.

I was bought up thinking I had to be nice to annoying people who were mean spirited and using me all the time. I used to think that behaving this way was "virtuous" - but i don't think it actually is... because my heart hated them for how they treated me.

I think it's better to be authentic about how you feel, while working towards being one of those rare handful of people who seem to have the grace to be "crapped" on all there life and not worry about it... that's the truer virtue. You can't fake virtue, it won't count in the end.

I haven't given up trying to be nice to those who really tick me off... where is Tap these days? but I've given up faking it, as it was destroying me on the inside.

Play for a while with those who have a mutual understanding that what ever they do, it's a privilege to do it with you. Treat them in the same way. Back off from the "hard cases" for a while as they always seemed to tangle me up on the inside. Know that other players do actually respect you for who you are. Your efforts and character are noted. Even if I don't count!

Jeezer I don't know about your country but in mine when a supervisor does something similar to flaming on this forum such as juggle did it is grounds to fire that supervisor. and as for my comments on this forum, I feel I am justified and if there was a program that sniffed out bots 98% of sloth would be pointed at. so if you don't like my comments on here, do like the rest of the ppl have minus the 2 who want to flame me and ignore it.

well, I am not the only one who died in this venture and if it were just me I would not have commented but when you spend 15 minutes gossiping for help and there are 18+ ppl on the game yah I'd say there are alot of bots going on out there but hey, who am I to say. like I said if you don't like what I have to say stay the hell off my posts.

Oh calm down. First of all, I'm not your supervisor and I'm not getting paid. I don't see why you'd want to see me 'fired', considering all I do is occasionally fix stuff. I'm more like your janitor than your boss.

You're free to bitch at everyone for not saving you if you want. But if you're not getting the rescues that you need, maybe you should work on your icq safety net. Maybe work on making safety pacts with other players who are not afking, instead of just hoping that there's someone online who gives a crap that you died.

When I corpse I blame myself, for not establishing a contingency plan. When you scold everyone for not coming to your rescue, people are going to play you a sad sarcastic song on the world's tiniest violin.

someone new to sloth reading this thread would get some wierd and truely distorted view of sloth that is so far from my experience that it beggers belief.

Yes sometimes bad stuff happens, mostly players that are around will help to the best of their ability, often risking and sometimes realising death to help others with no thought of reward or favour, other times theres no-one around with the ability or knowledge to help.

Its incredibly rare that there are people around who could help and either refuse to or have no inclination to do so. So the sentiment of this thread apart from being deliberately inflamatory is just plain inaccurate.

Its also rare that people playing are botting, afking yes, but botting no. So the title of this thread apart from being deliberately inflamatory is just plain inaccurate.

I'm sure there are exceptions that could be cited that contradict the above, but they are just that, exceptions, and rare ones,

please let this thread dwindle into the obscurity it deserves,
