Demon Web Gathering

A small scout party led by Abone went in search of rumors that demons were plotting to take over Settlestone. The group indeed found demons that haven't shown their foul faces for ages... but the power of the demons was too strong, and the mortals were banished from the realm.

The people of Settlestone implore you good citizens of the world to help protect them from the demons of the web. Also, there's rumor that the new demons have interesting items they might use against the realm of mortals.

ok, led a group thru dweb for a bit. fast repop was on so we got about 4 cycles in. here's what i noticed. all the old demons in the guest chambers by demo and orcus have been changed. even demo and orcus are gone!! i miss demo already btw. solid xp and if ya got a -12 tank and a couple tards it can be run pretty nicely. we popped two new items.

first item:
Fist of the Lord of Beasts..It glows violet!..It emits a faint humming sound!

got it from baphomet. bout a 65-80mil mob. good times

second item:
You get a necklace of centaur hooves from the corpse of an armanite demon that's on the ground.

armanite was worth about 25-30mil.

and that's all we found. looked like there were about 6-8 more newish/changed mobs that may pop stuff. good luck!

Demo, Orcus, Marilith, Lolth... they're in Akasha's area Lolth now. I decided not to touch Akasha's area since he's bigger than me and could put me into a hurt.

I hope people want to cycle the 10 new mobs in dweb, and I'd like to hear other opinions on the area. I hope I did it justice... considering how many players had missed the old dweb.

I hit your new mobs last night... give me a hint which one pops some druid stuff. I killed 7 mobs in 4.5 hours for nothing... (4 x innek, 3 x zugg)

Which reminds me to flame on about a new bard song that tells a player if a mob pops eq (without knowing the name)... saves so much trouble... but I guess the sadistic's thought me wasting my night last night was hilarious...
