I think your being unfair. I've asked a question, and asked people to state there opinion.

27 tokens would by me 45 mana which I could use to heal myself and gain 200hp+

27 tokens spent on heal bonus would use my existing mana and only add 10hp's per heal. This only becomes an advantage if I have to heal > 20 times on a run.

I simply wish to point out in a pure economic sense, one seems to be of far higher value than another. I'm asking others if they feel the same way.

Am I suggesting this because it would benefit me? Yes. Do I feel I am whining about it? No, because my point is based purely on economics that factually don't make much sense in comparison.

As for your conjecture about my playing ethic... you don't really know do you.

I'll whine about it with you Jezer. 10 tokens is nuts. 5 for spelldam and 10 for manaregen would be more reasonable imho.
Talk to the clown.

It is pretty expensive compared to some of the similarly useful options.

Now hold up. God-mode kicked ass... Especially when playing heavily modded Barney-Doom.

I hate that purple freak.

What a revelation! Of course it's overpriced. But so is stab dmg, bracers of razors and half the other high end items/bonuses you buy. It's an option, ya don't like the price don't buy it. Course it's not like there's anything else to do on the mud except get xp tokens and waste them. If you haven't figured it out by now it's now about being practical, it's about bragging rights! enjoy.

you know, I've given it a bit more thought, and this is what I come up with: There are many cases where a little bigger blasts/heals can save your ass but more mana certainly would not...doesnt help you if you dont have time to fire another shot. Plus, they claim this is a group mud and in a group, more damage faster and bigger heals are more beneficial than a little more mana.

at any rate, we're both entitled to our opinions. I'll probably never buy spelldam or healbonus, mostly because I dont play enough (it took me long enough to buy 3 stat points and once I get to 5x18, I'll probably work on one of my other chars which may or may not ever even make it to 5x40)

besides, eventually, you'll cap everything and have nothing left to buy except hp and mana (are there caps on how much of those you can buy?)

Iirc, the caps on hp / mana / moves are 400 / 200 / 200 I'm not positive on the moves but I'm pretty sure on the other two..

It is overpriced. I am still throwing my tokens at it since avatar bonuses were 'fixed' and caps were lifted but 20b xp and 20m coins for +5 spell/heal damage is pretty extreme.

Consider Avatar lights. You can choose 35 mana or +20 spell damage. To buy the mana at the avatar shop would cost you 21 tokens and 35m gold. To buy the spell damage it would cost you 40 tokens and 80m gold.

Also consider that you can get +15 spell damage with an in game light so really it is only a +5 bump. If I'm not mistaken, the best non-quest mana light is +15 mana.

you FAIL with this argument since you can actually buy mana and spelldam while you cannot BUY ac or mr with xp tokens.

nice try but if I apply your argument and consider that some things that you can get on your tard light simply have no price, spelldam and mana are a bargain.
