I can't believe I didn't post already, but this weekend is Gen-Con in Indy. It's probably the largest general gaming convention in the US, and easily the largest convention that takes place in Indy during the year. It's got a little bit for anyone, authors and artists participate, games, cards, mini's, strategy games, board games, movies, pc games. The trailer for the new Dragonlance movie is supposed to show. Also, Gary Gygas is the guest of honor this year, everyone should know of him eh?
We met Margaret Weiss and RA Salvatore last year, along with Keith Parkinson and Larry Elmore. We also met Rich Burlew who does the Order of the Stick, though he's not attending this year, and Tim Seeley who did the art in some awesome graphic novel versions of the dark elf books.
Well, I'm a fan and I'll be spending some time there this weekend. If anyone's going to be in the area, let me know. I'll check here. Let's get a beer, I'll pay.
