Why does drachma eq have rent cost?

I am wondering if anyone has ever considered this. Its fancy quest eq, why do we pay rent on it.

Well, you can't buy elite eq with gold, so it doesn't make sense to pay gold for rent.

Maybe dr eq should have some rent cost in dr? 1 per week per piece?

Thats a hellar idea, so if you rented for a year and come back its only 104 drachma for 2 items. Then since your gone and drachma runs out the innkeeper can keep your item. This is the best idea since sliced bread.
