Wot No Mud

I've been trying, on and off, to connect to the mud for about 4 hours without sucess (19/11/05 12:20 GMT)

Is the mud down or is it a problem my end (I'm assuming that as I can connect to this website it's probably the mud ... )

If so I in common with most players I think have probably looked on this website to see whats going on.

I fully accept that playing Sloth is a priviledge not a right, and am not complaining or whining that it is currently down, I think all reasonable people would understand that not everything will work 100% all the time, however could I make a plee that when extended outages happen, even one short simple sentence on the website saying something like:

It appears to be down for everyone atm including myself. I have been monitoring thr Live Info and nothing has changed to suggest otherwise.

I reckon a "chat room" for registered players would be a nice addition to this site... just so when the mud is down, we can confirm its not us or our networks.
