It wouldn't have to be 'weak'days...

On certain days, certain strata would be more powerful than others. It would basically even out but require much more thought on which spells to cast on which days.

Atleast thats my initial thought process, I really havent given it much to be honest:-)

Finally Splork, I thought you never got my ingame No Shave Friday email, I mean its my favorite activity in rl, so it might as well be my favorite mud day too! Basically ok, friday would be No Shave Friday, and you dont shave, and your character wont have to shave either, right, so then all the people you work with won't know that its really No Shave Friday on the mud, and itll be a huge in joke, but just for slothers. Thanks Splork!
Or even skills actually work day, for instance I have squirm at 85% but it works more like 15% of the time, or trip which works maybe 5% of the time!

Bal-Harbor Barber Shop
This is the Bal-Harbor barber shop. The wall are lined with imstruments
supposedly used for shaving, many of whcih would be me at home in a
torture chamber. The walls are constructed of rough block, and a long
blood stain marks the smooth red floor. A pole with read and white stripes
decorates one corner. In the middle of the room is a large leather chair.
A large glass door exits to the west.
A rotound balding man stands in the middle of the room.

Practical effect - beards impair battles due to getting scratchy after a certain amount of time, resulting in lost concentration and missed hits. It provides and effective bonus by selecting a female character.

Hmm. And to balance it, perhaps female characters would also have 'issues' ..but only once a month ..and since male chars would have to shave their beards daily, female chars would have to suffer PMS and be totally messed up (ie: attack innkeepers and other insanely huge mobs for no reason, refuse to group with male characters etc) for a whole week each month.

I'm an Asian Male, and can go without shaving for days.
So that means this shouldn't effect me right???
