To Immorts :)

Maybe the time has come to make some more good things for mortals who serve you.
Create Holy Musical Instruments and Triple 40 Musical Instruments as well, please. Please-please. It's not too hard for such a mighty Immorts, am I wrong? :)
I bet many people will thank you for that. :)

There is a reason we serve the gods, the hot and holy equipment already there, if its not broken why fix it?

Lots of Love,

‘Create food’ – it’s very strange but even most powerful Wizards of Sloth can’t create magical food in inventory. Usually created goose falls straight into the road dust. Yummy!

Wa-prime sword has no broadside. Let’s make this skill useful.

How you could fail casting if u have spell memorized? You don’t need to concentrate to cast it, so you can’t lose concentration.

Leveling:
How it could be we don’t need anything except exp and money to gain level? Actually when we finish something for the first time we earn some experience. When we hit it once more we can perfect our skills but how we can get same value of exp killing silly mobs again and again and again? It should be more realistic if we will receive less experience points each time we kill mob.
We have chosen classes and join guilds, with exploring our world, killing mobs we earn some exp points and master of guild can raise level (or teach us new skills and spells) if we are ready for this stage. But u can kill kobolds for a month and got exp for 40 prime heh and your master will raise your level. It’s very strange. I guess masters of guilds shouldn’t appreciate only values of exp and money. They should challenge their followers to see how much they worth. In other words I’d like to see levels quests – for example, you can’t gain 40th prime level w/o completing quest. Sure it shouldn’t be same quest for different guilds. It could be interesting and as a reward master could give us some rare books or something else.

No-steal clasp:
Actually this idea isn’t mine. I heard it from Lob, heh.. don’t sure he steal it from someone else. It will be nice to put clasp for sale in Weaver’s shop that will give item no-steal flag. I think there are peoples who want to buy it.

daisy stfu and let the grownups talk.

**EDIT Let me clarify.
Holy EQ needs to be altered in my opinion, and has for some time.
As Elwood I put forth quite a few ideas on how I thought we could
improve its' overall usefullness, ranging from a total revamp based
on "ranges" of sac points, to making it not crumble when you stop
wearing $item. Right now corpses are quite a useful commodity,
unlike 1999, when the last tweaking was done I believe. Now the
use of Holy EQ is more or less limited to holy swords/daggers for
newbs and the occasional shroud or wings. Most people over 3x40
just laugh at you if you're over 2x40 and relying on holy eq.
The perfect blend of poetry and meanness..

Holy equipment... yeah. Lots of reasons not to use it.

1) Unless you're on top of the list, anything you pray for can disappear at any time.
2) Necros have better things to do with corpses than keep their god happy.
3) Switching temples does absolutely no good now, so unless you spend 100% of your time on the same continent, or have relocation, getting the stuff is a complete pain in the ass.
4) If I remember correctly, SS has 1 whole temple.
5) You can't shift.
6) Crashes and reboots suck even more.
7) They're all going to laugh at you!!

My tank used holy equipment for a long time simply because he needed the AC. The xp groups at his level were incredible, but I was constantly switching temples because the stuff was always crumbling. Now that we can't switch, it's pretty much useless unless you're a Valker or you're an Avatar worshipping someone like Lorraine or Enea.

I now worship Blaster. :)

Last time I tried to sacrifice! something at Rita's altar, nothing happened. (Didn't start worshiping Rita). Maybe I'm just a newbie and screwed up, but I didn't think dropping a corpse at a tablet is that hard.

Tysmiha's is nice that you don't even have to sacrifice anything to start, just worship tysmiha. Unfornately, Tys's is at the totally wrong end of SS to be used.

If I had the eq stockpiles that others do, sure, then I wouldn't be using holy eq either.

And old argument raising it's ugly head

Postby dt » Thu Oct 06, 2005 11:18 am

I remember sometime back this very topic being discussed when the new classes went in. It seems only logical to some that new classes=new tri-40/holy eq also going in to cater to the new additions. This was dismissed as unneccesary to add since each new class was deemed overpowered. You best bet is to run drachma and hope weaver has an item to cater to your needs.. otherwise plan on not meeting your needs.

ah, right, because a clasp that makes a robe shiftable is oh-so-usefull to old class chars.

as for holy eq... yeah, if you're off valk and still using it, you should probably spend some time actually popping eq rather than just sitting in xp groups.
