When you use the viol or better (av 21), cry costs 25 mana. I think it drops to either 23 or 24 with the shofar at 5x40. It doesn't hit summons, except for spirit watchers (which is annoying, but I've asked it be changed enough times). I'm not sure, but it used to be if someone walked in the room with a summon that wasn't grouped with me, I'd hit it, but I can't remember if that's still the case or not - there have been several phases of changes to keep it from hitting summons.

yeah Bard is for sure solid and I find myself wishing more and more that I had a character with ba in classo. It's the only new class that I haven't worked with personally yet.

So, why do you say all blast compare with winds? I guess It's just a habbit. Cry is almost double effective as wind. And what about mass affect of cryes - you know, bard at 36 prime have analog of firestorm, and sure bards have better AC and more hps then mages. If bards want to hit single mob, they use their sing to lurn out mob from the room with other mobs and then kill.

Druids dawnfire is almost double effective as wind too, though it can be used only 3 ticks during sloth tick.

Dawnfire (the spell :}) is a joke. It may hit hard but who schedules their runs for the morning ? If it worked during the day, or the first HALF of the day it would be worth having, otherwise I don't see the point.

Yea that I would have to agree. A "strong" spell, but can only be used
within 1 tick. If it was able to be used from 6 - 12 then sure.

I think Bard primes are fantastic for grouping and is probably the best leader class just with Bros, Gods, Dreams, Rina, Reign and March.

Bros, Cry and Gods make great support songs for other classes, thieves and necros especially I think.

It's not a sicret that bard's song do not affect your leading skills :)
As for bards themselves and their soloing... Bard is a good addition to Necro class in your classo, especially after "animate dead" spell was weakened (brothers in arms and in valor became usefull).

You can't direct eye of the beholder to a specific mob - if the mob is in a room with other mobs, they'll all come out unless you get lucky. Cry is more effective than wind, but only with high charisma. If you aren't committing to a charisma mode, then it's less damage. The area aspect of it is good and bad, it just takes getting used to. There's no way to direct it only at 1 mob in a room, making it harder to use in certain areas. It tends to make bard a dangerous character to play. The basic philosophy of soloing is to clear the room and hope you're the last one standing.
