I logged back in to discover that even though death pact worked, the code continued on and corpsed me after raising me.

couple little things that I think someone should look at ...

can we make a couple changes in the defaults for newbies..

#1 please don't make newbies notell to start out it makes it hard to help them.

#2 is there a way to stop them from getting alcohol in thier skins as it really screws em up.

- default off gossip and auction channels for new characters; recently those were on and impossible to switch off until level 3, which, for a real newbie, can be rather confusing.

1) Ive created several newbies and notell has always been toggled off, so I think they must of somehow turned it on by accident...

2) Im leaving auction and gossip on for level 1 chars, this is because I was getting too many tells from newbies that nobody ever talks because they couldnt hear them. Ill see if I can atleast allow them to shut those off though.

I made a newb about 4 days ago and he came in default notell on as well, I think it must be really recent.

prac unlearned shows most of the warrior skills for shival even though he has them learned. im not sure if this is some sort of discrepancy or if there was some retroactive change and i now have to read all the skills again for 5% or something.


**EDIT It looks like some sort of retroactive change, I know Ghost/Shival didn't spend 7 years with his warrior skills not learned all the way. I just read double attack and kick again.

well just remember, its easier to put those spellbooks and manuals in your title, that way you never have to cycle them yourself

I refuse to do that shit dude. That is one of the most annoying things on this game, when people refuse to cycle their own sbs, or don't even try. I can say I have spent WAY WAY WAY too much time cycling sbs for Mustang in the last few weeks since he turned avatar. Like days and days wasted. It's really starting to frustrate me and make me question my motives for playing Sloth at all. I'm losing my ambition very rapidly.

Zeke spends more time leveling other people's characters than his own, much like Shyla spends more time running spellbooks for other people than playing her bard. He's also helped countless people learn the game. He's the BEST reason I've seen for dedicating every spare second helping people because he's produced some really good players doing it. He's generous to a complete fault with his time, money and equipment.

He doesn't have that in his title because he doesn't know what he's doing, it's because he believes in helping each other out when you can.

Level 3 is the kicker... when it turns on the channels it also turns on notell I have tested with 4 diff noobs and it always does it at lev 3.
